Small office overlooking Ocean with twin bed. Pier and Magnolia Center only short walk away (about 1/8 mile) with Restaurants, Shopping, convenience store. Get your toes in the sand and let your worries melt away with every wave that rolls in!

This warm and inviting home is situated right on the ocean and it is a pleasure to fall asleep and then wake up to the sound of crashing waves.The host is extremely accommodating and easy to work with and accepted our whole family. Close to Boston, Gloucester and Rockport. We will certainly return.

This was our first time at this rental and it could not have gone better. The house easily accommodates 11 people with plenty of indoor recreational space for inclement weather. The outside speaks for itself. 5 steps down to a private beach and all the beach toys one could want. The Magnolia pier was a magnet for the kids and the convenience store around the corner got lots of use. The view out to the Atlantic Ocean is spectacular.

Memorial Day Visit

The pictures do not do it justice. The place is large and has everything one needs for a pleasant stay. The owner was local, easy to reach and delivered extra firewood for our stay.

Perfect spot for a stay at the beach

We had a good weekend staying at Bob Anna's Lisa place. The location is perfect.! The kitchen is fully equipped with every pot, pan, utensil, and serving dish you can imagine. There is even an abundance of towels! The beds are comfortable, and there is way more space than we anticipated from the website description. We only wish we could have been there in the summer and enjoyed all the beach toys and activities. We cannot recommend this house more highly!We highly recommend Bob and Lisa's house.

Thanksgiving Stay

Overall we had a great stay for Thanksgiving week. We were a group from 5 years old to 80 years old and everyone had a great time. Bob is a great host and very accommodating. It was amazing to walk out of the house right onto the beach. We had a brief power outage (only 1 hour), but Bob responded immediately with candles and flashlights. The bathrooms were dated, but worked well.

Fall getaway

Walking into the house upon our arrival was absolutely breathtaking. We walked onto the porch to a perfect sea view and the wind blowing through the opened windows, it was picturesque. Bob, the owner, was great with communicating with us during our trip for any needs that arised. The house was fully stocked with linens, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and all of the other necessities needed for a long weekend fall getaway to the beach. We are already planning our return trip!

Wonderful family reunion

This was a wonderful place to stay for a family reunion. There was plenty of room, the location was spectacular, the house well equipped, especially the “beach toy” garage. The hosts were attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this awesome rental.

Great location right on the beach

Location, location, location. Right on the beach in beautiful Magnolia. Family loved being able to wake up to the awesome view and coffee and breakfast in the enclosed porch overlooking the water. It was easy for young children to play in the gorgeous grassy yard and on the sand. We all loved going for long beach walks and fishing off the new pier. Great restaurants nearby and easy to get to a grocery store and Gloucester center. The house is a basic beach house and the bathrooms are dated and could use some comfortable renovations. We enjoyed our week together at this house and Bob, the owner, is very accommodating, helpful and friendly. A good place to be on the beach.

Second stay as good as the first!

Once again we had a wonderful time staying at this beach house! I knew from our stay before that all we needed to pack were clothes and bring some food. Bob, the owner has made sure that the house has everything you will need. You can't beat the location right on the beach with views of Magnolia Pier. Every day we woke up to watch a family of ducks make their way across the harbor. Can't wait to come back next year!

Manchester-by-the-Sea is a hidden gem! I can still hear the waves on the beach as we searched for sea glass. We had family and friends visiting and everyone just loved the location, the view and the house. The bathrooms were a bit dated but certainly worked well. There are 5+ bedrooms with very comfortable beds and plenty of room for everyone. The lower level was perfect for the younger crowd with a large TV, sitting area and game table. The living area on the main floor is very comfortable and well appointed, however we spent all of our time on the beach, on the patio and on the porch. This was a truly relaxing vacation and we all had a wonderful time.

Awesome... The perfect place to get away and enjoy Cape Anne

This house is absolutely perfect for those that enjoy the Northern Mass. coastal lifestyle. The property has a million dollar view of Magnolia Harbor, it easily to function within and comfortably accommodated our family trip with 11 adults. We utilize Vrbo properties often and this ranks at the top for many reason. As mentioned, the location is incredible, the house is very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could possible need, parking is easy, access to the beach is a few easy steps, perfect communication with the owner, great details such as fresh flowers arranged in the kitchen and living area, lots of extra stuff to make the trip fun (kayaks, corn hole, games, chairs, etc.) There was nothing overlooked at this property. We will 100% return as a repeat customer.

Amazing Host

I cannot say enough good things about our host. He was amazing He decorated for Christmas, put up a tree, came over to show us around, the location is gorgeous. Right on the water and a fantastic view. The sunporch was beautiful and we had a great time

Perfect Thanksgiving getaway

This property was a perfect fit for our extended family (and our dogs) to enjoy Thanksgiving weekend. The furnishings are charming and comfortable and the glassed-in/screened porch is ideal for enjoying the beach views. The modern kitchen has everything you could possibly need for cooking. Whereas most rentals supply only "starters", this host supplied more paper goods, dish soap, etc then we could possibly use. While the bathrooms could use updating to the same level as the rest of the house, they were perfectly clean and met our needs (great water pressure too!). Beds were very comfortable and the whole house was spotless. Even though it was Thanksgiving, the beach had nearly constant activity with lots of people walking their dogs. The owner, Bob, was very communicative and helpful. We highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay here again!

Heaven on the Bay

We had booked daily activities on our Sisters Trip, but ended up hardly leaving our beautiful beach house. Instead we walked the beach and soaked in the relaxing time of just hanging out together.
