"I loved the rustic cabin. It was a calming peaceful place to stay, out on a ranch with all the wildlife and cows ant stars. A wonderful host making sure everything was good and always available for needs or information. "

"We stayed in this quaint farmhouse mainly because it was pet friendly and close to Round Top where we we’re meeting family for lunch. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the country lifestyle and peace and quiet. The outside cats were very friendly (our kids and small dog got along fine with them). Our host Natalie was very nice and communicative. Check-in and check-out was super easy."

"If you enjoy sitting on the porch while the breeze blows by and critters scurry about in the yard, this little old farmhouse is the place for you. I enjoyed it immensely. "

The RMB Longhorn West was everything we could have wanted and more. Mary Beth was the absolute most helpful host and personally so so kind to us and our families. "Absolutely beautiful! Everything about this property was perfect. We were able to cook all our meals at the house, with no issues, because the kitchen was well stocked with any item we needed. The two bedrooms have great mattresses and we all slept well. The home was also decorated like a magazine, and the view from the house was so serene and peaceful that we didn’t want to leave. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home!"

"It was wonderful! Everything was beautiful and we had everything we needed. The only problem I would say is that the address on Texas Street is not the correct address. I found the one on Hickory later which is the correct one.Thank you for everything!"

The owner was very nice and extremely attentive.But the pool area had multiple black widows like it hadn’t been clean in a good while.The chairs recovered in spiderwebs. We couldn’t even sit down on them.when someone was sent over to clean them off, she barely swept them and told me that I had spray under the sink and I could use it if I needed to. I went back out to the pool and the black widow was still there. So we didn’t let the kids get back in.The...

"This property was very eerie. There were no blinds on the windows, even in the bathrooms. The beds were poorly made, suggesting they were unclean. There was no bottled water in the fridge. The front door looked like it had been broken into at one point. The neighbors property is very unkept. I had to look for the lock box that wasn’t on the front door. It was in the top of the lantern, if my husband wasn’t 6’2 we would have had to find a stool or something to stand on to get the key out....

"I'll start by saying that I have stayed in dozens of vacation rental and have never had an instance where I felt it necessary to provide a negative review. We knew the home was older from the listing pictures but there was a key detail that was not mentioned or visible in the listing which is that the only shower in the home was a cast iron tub which had been converted into a shower. "Great house, wonderful amenities, great pool and patio.In the dark it is a little hard to find. Not lit or well marked and Apple Maps will take you to the neighbors driveway. It’s a small thing but I do wish there were some lights on in the yard when checking in (in my case in the dark). "
