"We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the past 12 years visiting our son in the valley, mostly in Glenwood and Carbondale. The proximity to downtown Glenwood (right around the corner) is this properties best attribute. Very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable for a smaller space. Many of these "miners houses" are available and this one worked well for us. Thanks!!"

"Check in was easy. The room was clean. The bed was okay, sloped towards the middle. The shower is very powerful and hard to adjust so just be forewarned. The fireplace wasn't operational while we were there but I didn't bother to check with the host since we were there for just one night. Cute house, great location, quiet. "A Night with the Alpacas is a perfect getaway. The alpacas come right up to the porch to visit (eat) and they are so cute! The cabin is lovely - just as described. We came in on the Amtrak, and while we had a sleeper car, you only sleep so well. The bed in the cabin was so comfortable, my husband slept 12 hours! We had great food from Burning Mountain Pizza and subs, which is just down the road. It was a great stay!"

It did not work most of the first night we were there. We checked in around 6pm, and it took until around 2am for the studio to warm up to tolerable temperature.
