"The apartment was great, fit every one of our needs. Felt like it was a little ways from the City Center but overall quick drive, easy access to attractions around. Very clean, spacious, and we would stay again for sure. "

"The cottage is lovely and very much as described, it it is actually bigger inside than it looks on the photos mainly I think due to the double height of the lounge but whatever it is a roomy enough place for a family. It was very clean. The main bed and sofas could be more comfortable and maybe those and linens are getting a little tired and yes it would be nice if there was a dishwasher and washer/dryer but the vibe here is rustic, relaxed, back in time and for that it is very well placed as is...

"We had a great stay with our extended family for our Sons wedding. The place was large and very comfortable and the location & view of Lake were awesome. The home could use updated outdoor furniture to take advantage of the views. Overall stay was great and would stay here again if we needed a large home in Killarney."

"This is a great house in a great location. Very quiet but so close to restaurants, and the center of the city. Within walking distance of the national park. The house was stocked with so many amenities. Plenty of room for a crowd. The washer and dryer were great. The fridge was stocked and lots of snacks left for us. Highly recommend this house. "

The location was very convenient to shopping, restaurants and pubs, but the rental itself was very quiet. The windows and skylights let in abundant natural light. "The location of the house cannot be beat as it is just a few minutes walk to the town. All 5 bedrooms are en-suite with 2 more bathrooms as well. The clothes washing machine/dryer combination unit, while not the same as a typical US setup, proved adequate. Due to the length of our stay (16 days) the owner arranged for a housekeeper visit and the place looked like new again afterwards.There is a bit of street noise, however for us that was easily overlooked in favor of the homes...

"Our family of 17 celebrated a special birthday at this wonderful home. Even though it was large enough to accommodate all of us, it was a warm and comfortable place for all of us. It was within walking distance to many restaurants, pubs, grocery stores and golf course. Patrick and Victoria were always within a phone call or email if we needed them. I would highly recommend the Shelburne Lodge and if I could I would rate it 5 1/2 stars."
