"The sugar shack was a great place to stay with my husband and daughter. Being right on the lake was amazing. It was just enough room for the three of us. The grill was in great condition, we grilled out each night of our stay. I think it’s important for anyone staying here knows that getting to the house from the top of the driveway and getting down to the lake could be challenging if you have any mobility issues. "The unit is located in a mixed-use high rise facility, and it’s very close to the center of Gadsden’s entertainment district. It’s a clean, lovely, tidy place to catch some zzz’s on the go. "

"We loved being centrally located & on the top floor of the tallest building in town! There was ample parking, a fully stocked kitchen, & the mattresses were super comfy - a rare find in short-term rentals! For those with sensory needs: The AC is a little loud & in the living room area only, but the fans magically pull the cool air into the bedroom. "

"The house was very clean and is well maintained. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. Pretty views of the river and is in a quiet location. My only complaint is that there was only a half a roll of paper towels and only one extra trash bag and we were there for 4 days, not a big deal though. Overall, great place to stay!"
