"Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. We missed out on sitting at the patio or balcony due to rain. The layout worked well that my sister "owned" the lower floor and I "owned" the upper bedroom with the TV. We each had our own bathrooms and privacy. We had a great time playing Yahtzee on the table!!!! "

"Great place with good lake access and facilities. Kids and adults loved the game room,floating dock and swim platform too.Hosts responded quickly to inquiries and even checked in with me during a Tstorm warning to make sure we were aware. Only down-side is that it is so popular we couldn't book again next year. Highly recommend!"

"We stayed five nights at Waters edge retreat with our daughter and her husband and their two children ages six and two. The accommodations were perfect! The cottage was recently updated and spotless! It had ample room for our group, including laundry. It was well stocked with dishes, pots, and pans, spices, extra paper, towel, etc. Dishes and pots and pans were all in beautiful condition! There is no zero entry into the lake, but it is very shallow near shore and we had no problem swimming there...

"Just as listed with a ton of extras. Jill and Jim were excellent hosts answering all our questions and responsive to our needs. Both boats were great, the house was clean and comfortable, and lots of room to spread out and relax. We took one day to hit the Mall of America 1 1/2 hour drive each way, but other than that, spent the rest of the week at the house and boating. Caught a handful of bass but nothing crazy. "Betty's Bungalow is a perfect little basecamp to enjoy time at and on a beautiful lake.The owners are thoughtful & communicative, and the cozy cabin has everything you need, inside and out (including a nice oscillating fan to help move air & utilize nature's version of AC) to enjoy the best of Minnesota's summer days and nights at the lake! We look forward to our next visit."

"This home was easy find, lots of parking, great accessibility to unload stuff. It was clean and neat with lots of space. Communication with the host was great and the beds were very comfortable. Even had great water pressure in the shower! Seemed to have everything on hand we had forgotten and was easy to get in and out. Highly recommend! "

"We had the absolute best family time at these 2 cabins! They were so clean, easy to find( good directions)!, very well stocked with all we needed, comfortable beds, basement ( garage space ) in cabin 2 had pool table and lots of space for our kids to play , when they weren’t out fishing, swimming on the raft or fishing off the dock which they LOVED! We will definitely come back! Highly recommended! Thank you so much for a memorable family vacation! "

"Stayed here with family for a couple chill days on the lake. We loved the space to spread out, the hot tub, and all the toys on a rainy day. House was clean, quiet, and spacious. The kitchen is equipped with the basics, but a bit sparce. If you keep your cooking simple (or get takeout from the great pizza spot) you'll be good to go! Communication with the hosts was great as well."

Each had their own recliner, space to plug in and have a fully engaged creative day planning our work for the year ahead! "Wonderful place to stay, very quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Hosts are amazing, and the delicious cinnamon rolls we received upon arrival shows how much they want your stay to be as comfortable and welcoming as if you were in your own home. "A charming house, very comfortable and relaxing. Adequately outfitted without being cluttered- a very calming and welcoming environment. And incredibly bright and clean.Our beds were comfy, the kitchen had what we needed, and the kids had a great time playing foosball in the basement and monopoly in the living room. The location was great- a block off the main drag, lots of shops, food, and parks within walking distance. We had a wonderful weekend stay in the Craftsman Cottage :) "

"Thr proprrty looked just like the pictures. Relaxing with great views.We live in the Twin Cities and were having our house painted inside. We couldn't be in the house while they eere painting. We love the fact that the host chose to make this a pet friendly getaway. Howard lake offered some really good opportunities for us. Our car broke down and we went to a place called Omega Auto and they took great care of us and were extremely reasonable. We also found a boat rental nearby in Maple Lake...

We started our stay as fiancés and left as a married couple!! We had a lot of events going on during stay, and this place was PERFECT for hosting get togethers. It has everything we needed already there as far as kitchen utensils appliances and supplies. We had 9 people total and everyone got their own bed/couch which was really nice. It was a quick drive from the twin cities and the lake was smaller but not busy and easily accessible. "
