Located on the Crystal River, this two-bedroom lower-level condo boasts comfortable furnishings, great views, and direct beach access to Lake Michigan. After a fun day on the lake, return to the comfort of the condo which features a cozy fireplace, well-equipped galley kitchen, and bedrooms outfitted with comfort in mind. Additional highlights include WiFi, cable TV, and a furnished deck.

Please note that this property does not have A/C.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Work had been done on the condo with no follow up cleaning. Soldier on towel in dirty sink, dust on everything, crumbs on table and chair, dried urine on toilet bowl rim. Plus hair on bathroom floor. Generally needs a good cleaning.

Wonderful location with beautiful view and just a short walk to Lake Michigan beach. The unit itself lacked attention. A mushroom sprouted in my mildewed shower, which was very unsettling. The carpet and floors were very sandy upon arrival. Transparent toilet paper, the thinnest one-ply I've ever seen. No garbage bags provided. The powder dishwasher soap was horrible, leaving every dish and glass streaked with a grainy white film, so had to wash every dish by hand before using (all in cupboards required washing). The front bedroom with the twin beds reeked of cat urine. The lockbox wouldn't open upon arrival and it took us over an hour to get in, while our groceries melted. It was impossible to directly contact our host, which has never been a problem with any of our previous VRBO's. The baseboards were filthy. The sheets were as rough as burlap. The towels super thin, stained, and of the lowest quality possible. Did not provide beach chairs or beach towels. No cutting board. No salt -- come on!

The condo was great with lovely patio setting to watch the wildlife. My only criticism is the lack of action from Vacassa regarding the malfunctioning dishwasher. Despite multiple texts back and forth, no resolution or offer of partial refund for our inconvenience of no dishwasher.

Everything I Needed

I came to Glen Arbor for some "me" time and this condo was perfect! Listening to the Crystal River run and the waves of Lake Michigan crash from the porch was definitely a highlight. It was just me, but this would be perfect for a small family and the condo was equipped with everything you would need. Clean, peaceful, and a great location!

Family of five

Beautiful resort area. The view and location to the beach and Glen Arbor was unbelievable. Seeing Lake Michigan and Crystal River from the living room and walking right out to both is unbeatable. The property had just enough space for us to relax and enjoy dinners and family game time. Our only disappointment was poor communication with Vacasa and a poorly cleaned condo.

Off to a BAD Start!

Arrived at 4:00 as instructed for check-in. Lockbox wouldn't open. After several attempts by wife and me, I texted the Vacasa 800 number. Got empathic reply. Would check into it. Offered to have someone come to our aid. Yes, please. No one. More texts. "Housekeeping was there earlier in th e day and had no problem." Oh, it's US! After two hours, threatened to leave and demand full refund. At two and one half hours, a rep (nice lady) walked us through the problem. Seems they have been having some issues with this box. She walked us through and by 6:30 p.m. we were in. By that time we were fried. Vacasa gets a 1 rating for very poor customer service!!!

Birthday Getaway

Came to Glen Arbor for my Birthday from Cleveland, OH and it was well worth it! This beautiful house was well worth it as well. It was clean, roomy, and had all the amenities we needed. Situated right off Crystal River and just a bridge walk over to the Bay - it was beyond perfect! Every night it housed a beautiful sunset for us. Book this before it gets booked!

Fall getaway

Unit was amazing. Very clean. Our coffee pot was missing the carafe and someone actually delivered a new coffee pot!! Which was completely above and beyond! View was gorgeous!

Spring 2023 at the Homestead

Wonderful things about this property: 1. The location makes it easy to explore the area 2. The view of the river and lake from the living room/kitchen is fantastic. 3. Easy access and close by parking. 4. We felt safe. 5. The condo was clean as a whistle and pretty well stocked for the essentials. 6. The price point was a great value. Other things about this property: 1. Pots and pans need to be replaced. They are crusty and old. 2. Heater/AC unit in master bedroom is loud. 3. New door stop needed on secondary bedroom bathroom door. I would recommend this property for a rental!
