"Lovely staff and super food"

"Room was clean and refurbished but let down by the bathroom The toilet was badly located and toiletries insufficient ( particularly as there was nowhere to shower in spa) due to no changing rooms being available Parts of the hotel have been refurbished and are lovely although often just superficial but the other parts are very tired and and unloved. Spa - the areas which were available were very good and clean but again doors were lacking in cleanliness and if you look closer corners are...

"Lovely clean rooms, great shower! Very doggie friendly. Roaring fires and beautiful food. 10oz steak and peppercorn sauce cooked to perfection. The Coffee and tiramisu sundae exceptional. We will be back!"

"Extremely poor communication "

"Room was average for the price paid but overall looked tired. Very old pub and traditional rooms but that’s no reason to ignore mould and damage to the bathroom and paint flaking off the walls. Light fitting was hanging off by exposed wires. In the evenings the pub downstairs is busy with a lot of noise heard upstairs until about midnight. "

"Parking in pub car park was easy as we arrived early. Had a drink in the bar and a walk to the shore before check in at 2pm. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Room was lovely with everything you need. Bed was comfortable, lots of extra bedding and pillows if needed. Bath was a bit difficult to get out of for us personally but would be fine for most people. Meals were delicious, we had breakfast, dinner and tea. Thanks for a wonderful stay. "

"The bar was reasonbly priced and on Saurday night karaoke was on. The room was clean and tea/coffee facilities in room. The location is great. Had no complaints and will be returning in May."

"Absolutely fabulous room with spectacular views of the sea.A very warm welcoming from Kyle who could of been any more pleasant or helpfull.The room recently refurbished was immaculate Lovely large comftable bed with large tv screen and a wonderful bathroom.No bar or restaurant or breakfasts but many eating places close by .Highly reccomended"

"Can't understand what's so prestigous about it, fairly average really. Location is awful, name misleading. Set by a landfill site. Restaurant ok. Bathroom was nice."

"We had the luck of staying during the week of Halloween. the room was spacious and comfortable. There was a wonderful Halloween event happening and we especially enjoyed the owl show. "
