We were visiting our son at UCONN and location was convenient to campus, the Hartford football and basketball arenas (15 minutes to all). "The treehouse was great! It is as pictured, clean, small. The fireplace was connected to the thermostat which I thought was really cool. We got to see the animals on property which was an extra treat. There was a lot of extra spices, oils, water, coffee that we could use. Waking up with the windows all around and then going out on the balcony was so peaceful and nice. The only thing is the compost toilet smelled. We were there for one night and by the next day it smelled even putting the lid...

We went on the hiking path just minutes from the front door. We went to Massachusetts, NYC, and Rhode Island, all were a hour and half or less away. "We had a great, relaxing Thanksgiving holiday at this spacious Southington, CT home. It was the perfect spot to visit one of my daughters and be able to have my mother-in-law stay with us so we could cook and host Thanksgiving dinner. The house was well-stocked and supplied with everything we needed, and then some; which allowed us to have a stress-free holiday as if we were in our own home. We highly recommend this home and will keep it in mind for future extended stays in the area."
