"What a fantastic B&B, free parking right behind if you are lucky. The accommodation was lovely, the rooms are brilliant, our room (right at the top) was boutique style with a nice big bath in the room, great views out of the windows. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate making facilities in the room and a private toilet. Nice comfortable big bed with a big heavy duvet and plenty of pillows. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. "Fantastic, helpful staff - well tested, when we arrived a day early by mistake , but smoothed over in an instant . If you are in town for books - you could not have a better location, easy to dash back with your bibliophile hauls ."

"The shower did not drain, which resulted in the bathroom becoming flooded with water. The light in the seating area would not work. The pillows were very thin and so was the mattress. Overall a poor experience. "

"Just spent the evening with Edward and his family at this historic property. We had a fabulous experience throughout our stay. The room was large, clean with fabulous views. The bathroom was sumptuous with a wonderful curved bath and shower. Edward our host could not do enough for us. This is his family home, and we enjoyed a tour of the house and to hear about its history. My partner and I would highly recommend you stay. "

"Bed super comfy, place super cosy. Tom (host) is a one of a kind man. So welcoming, so kind and super generous. Offered out his own apples in the Morning (can’t promise the same for you haha). I can’t recommend staying here more."
