"We had a great stay! I cannot stress enough how close and convenient this location is to the Grassy Gap parking area for hiking Doughton Park. That’s what drew me in to book this stay. We didn’t spend much time on premises, so we didn’t utilize the many amenities…hot tub, fire pits, picnic pavilion, etc…but the stay was comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and communication was great."

"My sister her husband and I wanted to do some wineries and visit Mt.Airy. Just a few days. We had their puppers with us and this couldn't have been a better place for a quick getaway. The place was exactly as posted and the yard was enjoyed greatly by the dogs. We would put them on tie outs and sit on the deck and enjoy some of the wine from the wineries while they enjoyed some outdoor time. The hostess dropped by just to see if we needed anything. "The area is so beautiful and its remote location is ideal for unplugging and getting some peace and quiet. The cabin is cozy and very well kept. The bed is a bit uncomfortable for 2 people to sleep in, but that's my only complaint. Would definitely recommend for weekend getaways and nature lovers."
