"Nothing flash, just a really good, well run comfortable hotel at a reasonable price. Staff were excellent and the rooms were very comfortable (it's just been built). Pool was spotless and the bar staff were particularly great. Good breakfast too. really like the place and we will stay again."

"It was a good location. That's why we chose it. But it was very "bare bones." The soap/shampoo in the shower was awful. There was a smell of smoke even though I thought we had a non smoking room. And when we woke up there was no hot water. It was remedied after my husband went to speak to the front desk. I would say the bathroom.waa clean but the shower has mold in it."

"Upon check-in, there were problems with the front desk. The usual desk clerk was not available, so another family member stepped in to assist (we were told). He was not familiar with the computer system, so that took long. Though I got into the lobby first, he helped another lady who came in afterwards (and I found out later that she was there a half hour earlier and the man was not able to assist her yet). The check-in process took a half hour. The desk clerk kept answering phone calls, which...

"Originally we were assigned a second floor room. Although elevators were available my 92 year old mother wanted a ground level room. I went back into the lobby and 5 minutes later we had gotten a ground level room right in front of a handicapped parking spot. Excellent service"

"Don’t stay on the third floor. All the equipment for air conditioning is on the roof and you can hear it in your room. Impossible to sleep at night. It’s the noisiest place I’ve ever stayed. The bed was really lumpy. Never experienced that before. Sheets nice quality. If you like giant almost round hard pillows, you’re in luck. Otherwise bring your own pillow.Bathroom was lovely and had wonderful amenities. Bathrobes were included, which was a nice touch. Breakfast did not have bacon....

"What a splendid hotel!!! Gorgeous historic property with all the latest amenities. Every room is beautifully decorated, as is the lobby. Our room had a lovely private area on the patio. Staff was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Location is terrific - within walking distance to a variety of dining experiences. Wish we had stayed more than one night. Highly recommended!!!!!!!"

"The breakfast was very nice, the staff was excellent. We stayed four days. My husband and I have stayed many times before. However this visit the elevator was out the entire time. My husband and I both have physical disabilities, so getting to the third floor for breakfast was a real problem. I wish I would have checked or have been notified before our stay that the elevator was not working. In addition the ice machine was also out of order.☹️"

"We loved our stay at the Geneseo Inn. The property is beautiful and peaceful. The staff is so welcoming and the room was wonderful. The restaurant on site is within walking distance and has delicious wine and food. The chef prepared breakfast was amazing. We will definitely be back to stay in the future."

"The woman who checked us in was very nice. It’s went quite smoothly/efficiently. Parking was plentiful. The pool was not so clean — rather unappealing. My room was very clean, recently remodeled. It’s a simple, basic room for a great price. I would recommend. Two minor inconveniences … There is no electric plug near the sink to use with my hair dryer & curling iron. Also, there is no soap dish or shelf in the shower to put shampoo, razor."
