"The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Everyone from the owners who made you feel like family to all the servers were excellent. The owners spoke English. Although Steffi did not speak a lot of English she tried and always had a smile and was delightful. The tub was an unexpected surprise but a very good surprise. There was also a shower. I highly recommend this gasthof and if we come back we will definitely stay here again."

Gave us a great tip on one place for dinner and we ate at Hotel am Park our second night. Nice location with walking into the spa complex down the road and easy and free on-site parking. Not the Ritz but warm and comfortable, especially if you are looking for a laid back experience in this area. "

"Lothar-Mai-Haus besticht durch die tolle Lage mitten in der Natur. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück bei gutem Wetter auf der Sonnenterasse - einfach genial. Dazu Wellness und hier besonders die Bergsauna mit tollem Blick ins Grün. Leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service ... Ein rundum Wohlfühlpaket ..."

"Nice hotel, looks new and updated compared to other hotels in Germany. Very friendly staff! Great drinks at the bar and good breakfast. My only complaint would be the small bathroom/shower but thats par for the course in Germany. Will definitely stay here again next year! "
