"Lovely log cabin on Texada. Please note this is a paved road, but most are not paved, but gravel. It is a ways downhill to the beach so no beach access from the cabin if you have mobility issues. Cabin well stocked with what you need for cooking your own meals. Upstairs is only accessible by ladder. We had great adventures seeing the rare spotted turtles and climbing mountains. Unfortunately waterfall was dried up when we went in April. "

"It was so nice to get out of the city and away from traffic noise and city lights. All amenities were provided and the spring water was delicious. The old house is full of charm and tastefully decorated. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen very modern. We didn't get to use the wood stove because the weather was warm. All in all, it was a wonderful stay."

"The cottage was easy to find, clean and well equipped. Any questions were quickly answered. The bed was comfortable, furnishings clean and comfortable as well. We would love to return, and would recommend Timber Cottage to anyone seeking peace, quiet, and serenity. The ocean view and accessibility were perfect. . "

"The property is incredibly peaceful - very quiet at night. The suite had everything we needed, and the gardens outside were beautiful. Very relaxing place, on a very laid-back island."

"Amazing place to stay and walk along the beach and wind down on the patio. Stunning views and Will definitely be booking here again when I’m back in the area."

"Very nice cabin, could accommodate family with kids. Close to beach, but view obstructed by row of smaller cabins directly in front. Close to Salish Market in Bowser, and also Qualicum Beach. Good amenities, kitchen well appointed for cooking, grilling, baking. Very pleasant stay."

"Incredibly spacious, incredibly beautiful home. Nice touches include a horse from a carousel, huge kitchen and dining area, wood slab furniture throughout, large deck and backyard. Melanie was easy to communicate with and provided thorough and easy to understand instructions. You’ll be pleased. "

"My husband and I decided to spend a week on Denman in hopes of catching the herring spawning (excellent wildlife opportunities). Our host was very easy to communicate with and she made us feel at home on her farm. Her place is very clean and charming. The wood stove was cozy. The access to beaches and town was easy. All in all, a great week."

"My family and I loved our stay. The only negative is that we couldn't stay longer!!"

"A perfect spot for access to beaches and brew pubs which is how we spent the week. Communication with the property manager was great. House was well stocked. Only negative is the lack of curtains in upstairs bedroom. Only really needed on the door to the deck otherwise I would suggest guests bring an eye mask. As the sun comes in at 6:00."

"So many great things to say about this property! A truly complete kitchen with excellent appliances and all you could need. Lots of space and very well laid out. The beds were comfy and there were many options and places to sleep. Really lovely location, and excellent hosts. We hope to stay here again!"

"It was delightful to stay at this quaint little cabin! It's well appointed with everything needed, and the location right on the beach is ideal. I had the pleasure of watching eagles, herons, seals, sea otters, and many more forms of wildlife right out the front window. The cozy fireplace is a great added touch for the cool evenings. If you seek quiet, solitude, and a beautiful venue to re-charge, this place is for you. "

"I stayed here with a friend in the small cottages. The place was very clean, and we each had our own separate small cottage. I was in the one that was sort of the living room, and my friend was in the one with the kitchen on the bottom and the bed in the loft above. There was a shared bathroom in a separate building between the two and a large deck connecting everything. There is no real cover over the deck, so the first night, it was raining hard, and we got a bit wet going to the bathroom, but...

"We were very pleased with our stay. The house was very spacious and super clean. It was equipped with everything we needed. The owners thought of everything that a family would need to have a comfortable stay.
