"We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Karl August after our river cruise. The staff were friendly and efficient. The social area between the lobby and restaurant was very comfortable and inviting. The room also exceeded expectations especially the bathroom amenities. We’ll certainly book here again if we return to Nuremberg."

"Leider war dieses Mal die Klimaanlage im ganzen Hotel defekt. Die Mitarbeiter haben uns ein Zimmer mit mehr Schatten zugewiesen. Leider war dieses für unsere Verhältnisse immer noch zu warm und das Fenster konnte man leider nicht die ganze Nacht offen lassen, da auf der einen Seite die Bahngleise und auf der anderen die Straße war. Preisnachlass oder sonstiges gab es leider auch nicht. Das Frühstück und die Zimmer sind sonst hervorragend. Das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit."

"The proximity to the train station was paramount for us and secondly the close walk to Aldtsadt was also a major bonus. The property was clean, welcoming and a perfect base for a quick trip through Nuremberg, to get to our flight home from Frankfurt. So glad we made this stop and chose this property.... Air Con and a great shower, plus wi-fi absolutely necessary and all worked well for us."
