"Room was great. Slept well. Bathroom is a little walk from the cabin. "

"Very accommodating manager. Couldn't do more to make us comfortable!! One criticism is the shower was tricky!! Hot water didn't come on easily. We eventually got it going after seeing the notice on the wall. The shower floor was very slippery, as the curtains didn't keep the outside dry, so quite dangerous when wet. I had to dry the floor leading to the toilet to prevent my husband, and myself, from slipping. Needs an air vent/ expel fan. The kitchen could benefit also from an expel fan. "

"We found a couple little bugs but other than that everything was fine, the bed was not as comfy but it was pretty good for one night "

"I wasn't so sure about this place when we arrived but we ended up having a very nice stay here. The bathroom was huge. The master bedroom had a comfy beds and the heated mattress pad was outstanding! My friends were in the second bedroom and she didnt like that her bed was against an outside wall that she felt was chilly. "

"Owner really rude and aggressive, knocking on the door at 10.00 asking us to leave. Not 10.10 or 10.01. It seem he was waiting at the door looking at his watch. After I said ok, and even when he could see that my baby was half dressed, he knocked again 30 seconds later. In two months in New Zealand staying at different places I have never experienced such horrible behavior. "

The room itself was beautifully designed, with thoughtful details throughout and a sense of calm that immediately put us at ease. And the bed… easily the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. We left feeling rested, delighted, and so grateful for the experience. Casa Nova House is a true gem, and we can’t wait to return."

"Excellent place to stay! Soo much history to this beautiful old building, grounds are well maintained, the chapel was a highlight for us what a beautiful building!! Highly recommend for a quiet beautiful place to stay of even to just go for a visit!! Will be back!!"
