A jewel of a cozy cottage on the stream

  • A lovely and convenient location for this historic house with modern comforts. The back porch sits along a stream and there are two other outdoor sitting areas to relax and enjoy the wonderful nature show. Your view will include bluebirds playing the in the trees and fantastic mountain views. The walk to the main street of town is in the 100s of feet!

    This two bedroom home was built in the late 1800s so has all the character of a historic home but the convenience of a kitchen and bathroom that were updated in 2018.

    Your creature comforts include two adorable bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Each room has independent heating and can be adjusted for your personal preference. A cute bathroom with a soaking tub and all the amenities to relax and enjoy after a great day of skiing, hiking, riding, walking or whatever! (It is your vacation!)
    A cozy living/dining area with very comfortable furniture to relax, play games, or watch television.
    A nice fully equipped and updated kitchen with soft close cabinets, appliances, washer dryer.

    The drive to the nearest ski area, Loveland, is 11 miles. You feel a million miles from the city and can relax in this location while being about an hour from Denver.

    The shower is in the clawfoot bathtub; a consideration if anyone in your party has a challenge stepping up.

    In the summer you can open the windows a little and relax to the sound of the water running in the stream.

    This is one of my favorite places to be and I hope it will be yours too.

Perfect little cottage on a refreshing creek only a few steps from the town of Georgetown. This was centrally located for us to many hikes and attractions. Mary was quick to respond and was very helpful.

I appreciated having a bathtub, full kitchen and laundry in this lovely quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable and I loved being able to sit outside creekside and listen to the water flow by. The overall location was a good central place for day hikes or just walking around the historic downtown. I would certainly book this cottage again if staying in Georgetown. Thank you for a very restful stay.

Enjoyed our stay here immensely. Mary was a breeze to communicate with before and during our stay. Enjoyed sitting by the creek which was so relaxing, walking to the historic district so close by and the cozy atmosphere of the home. Would definitely stay here again

Having the creek right outside the cottage was a soothing dream — we slept great, even if we slept in two beds. This place is so cozy and comfy, like staying at your cool aunt’s house. The location can’t really be beat — a short walk to downtown and several restaurants and shops. Georgetown is charming and close to a lot of other cool spots. Check out Columbine Corner for some neat gifts. Would stay again!

Did not recognize that we needed to bring our own bath soap. Very clean, neat, and well stocked. Good WiFi. Will stay here again. Suggest moving fence so you can sit by the stream.

The property is very nice, located in a very quiet neighbourhood. Convenient location to ski resorts. Loveland resort is only 20 min drive. Easy check-in and check-out procedures. Mary, the host, was easy to communicate with.

We absolutely loved our visit to Georgetown. The house was perfect for us and the location amazingly close to the old town square. The stream and Aspen in the outdoor sitting area were so calming and beautiful.
