Beautiful spot

Beautiful spot and housing and excellent caretaker. The only drawback was the outdoor cats here, and at the beaches because my wife has some health issues where she has to limit her exposure to the parasites that outdoor cats carry.

Regatta Point è stupendo, incantevole. La proprietaria veramente molto gentile. Abbiamo trascorso 5 notti a Regatta Point e siamo stati benissimo, una bellissima vista da tutte le finestre della casa. Il mare in casa. E' stato sempre un piacere ritornare a Regatta dopo aver girovagato per l'isola. Consigliato.

Super schöne Wohung im 1. Stock mit 2 Terrassen direkt am Wasser. Durch jedes Fenster ist Wasser zu sehen und besser kann man nicht aufstehen. Zudem ist die Dame, die dort wohnt und es verwaltet, extrem hilfsbereit und ruft sogar Taxen und Restaurants für einen an

The room was just ok...but that's not what you're in the Exumas for :-) The location is great, within walking distance to groceries, and the water taxi to Stocking Island. Nancy was incredibly helpful, arranged taxis for us etc., anything we needed. Sugar Adventures picked us up right at Regatta Point, which was fabulous. The Exumas are absolutely gorgeous...you haven't really seen the Bahamas in all their splendor unless you get away from Nassau to the outer islands.

Georgetown gem

Located right next to GeorgeTown with easy access to Stocking Island and the rest of the Exumas. We stayed a couple of nights over the Music and Heritage festival which was great to get our bearings and experience local bahamial life for the first time. Apartment was well appointed with everything you might need, cutely accessed by bridge from the main port. No A/C but not needed. Good beds and bedding. Perfect starting point to our holiday.

The property has potential but needs updated and better maintained. It really needed a good cleaning from top to bottom! Not my worst stay but not worth the money!

I was told on the day of arrival that no room is available while I have my booking confirmation in hand. And then I was asked to book the only available hotel at the last minute with an additional $420 charge. Both Regatta Point and Expedia were refused to cover the additional cost so far.

Traumurlaub

Unsere Wohnung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber immer wieder. Das andere Gästehaus wurde gerade renoviert und steht nun im neuen Glanz da. Ebenso phantastisch ist das kleine aber feine grüne Paradies das Nancy, die Vermieterin, da geschaffen hat. Sie ist gern für ihre Gäste da und hilft wo sie kann.

Splendido soggiorno

Bellissimo soggiorno in una location con una vista fantastica su Stocking Island, a due passi dal centro di George Town e dalla partenza dei taxi boat. Appartamento molto bello con ampi spazi e sempre molto pulito! La proprietaria e il suo staff sono stati sempre molto efficienti! Grazie Nancy! Hai reso il nostro soggiorno indimenticabile!

Localisation exceptionnelle

Belle maison chargée d'histoire. Spacieux et confortable. La propreté pourrait être meilleure, et avec un peu plus d'équipements (Climatisation, wifi), cet établissement deviendrait incontournable.

Excellent location on water

Beautiful location with a warm greeting from Nancy. I was initially worried about having no air with my teenage kids. The place was comfortable and we were able to make meals after boating each day in which the boat rental is a short walk with having the ability to pull the boat up was nice as well..

Isolated spot with no wifi, making it hard to coordinate particularly as there is no reception to get help. Otherwise comfortable rooms. Not suitable for swimming really as appears advertised near beach.

Sofort wieder

Total ursprünglich, karibisch. Der Standard ist natürlich auch dementsprechend, aber wenn man gerne die karibische Lebensweise kennenlernt ist es super dort. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Lage ist perfekt und man hat einen super Blick aufs Meer. Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles etwas älter aber total funktionstüchtig. Würden sofort wieder kommen:)

They overbook the villas!

When we arrived they told us our villa was no longer available. We made a reservation 2 minths in advance, which had not been canceled through hotels.com. They simply overbook and do not care what happens to those who they turn away. Like most people, we travelled a long way to get to Exuma. Hotels.com gave us some cash credit but that was a small consolation - there was nothing else available to rent so we had to fly home. Buyer beware!!!

book at your own risk

Regatta Point did not honor our hotels.com reservation booked three weeks prior to our arrival. The owner said they were fully booked and refused to even look at our confirmation e-mail documenting our reservation.

Super schöne Hotel direkt am Meer

Sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel bzw Appartement, für alle die, die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Direkt am Wasser gelegen mit tollem Blick auf das blau-blaue Meer mit großer Küche usw. Sehr nette und interessante Gastgeber und super Lage, da man im fußläufiger Nähe zum kleinen George Town mit wenigen Läden ist und auch direkt am Regatta Point ist, wo die Wasdertaxis ablegen.

Weekend Getaway

Awesome location, right in downtown George Town. Close to the ferry and local restaurants/shops. Nancy and Jeanine were very friendly and pleasant to chat with. Thank you for having us.

Wonderful location.

We loved our three night stay here. It is right on the water, the view was stunning. It is in easy walking distance to everything in Georgetown (Peace and Plenty, groceries, water taxi to Stocking Island). We loved having a kitchen and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone was very helpful and accommodating. We can't wait to go back.
