Come unwind at the Take it Ease Sea House! Make yourself at home in this beautiful 4 bedroom/2 bathroom, waterfront home. With enough space to sleep ten people and its luxurious open floor plan, you will enjoy the amenities of being at home. Each bedroom can be environmentally controlled to achieve each person’s individual comfort level and linens, bath and beach towels are supplied. All rooms come equipped with ceiling fans and adjustable lighting. Entertainment amenities included with the house are: flat screen TV’s, cable television, Roku devices in each room, DVD player, Bose speaker for music, and free wireless high-speed internet. Assorted board games, playing cards and books are available to those who want to disconnect and relax. There is a beach at the top and bottom of the property with lounge chairs and umbrellas ready for a day in the sun. Need to rinse off sand after a day on the beach? The house offers two outdoor showers: one on the beach and one attached to the house.

Ready to dine and entertain with a spectacular view of the ocean? Our outdoor covered veranda is ready for you. An outdoor gas grill is ready for your use and while you are waiting for dinner you can play some corn hole or horseshoes. The garage on the property is stocked with all the beach toys you can dream of: paddle boards, kayaks, rafts, snorkel gear, water shoes, life jackets, wet suits, beach games and toys for the kids. Head out to the rock in front of the house for some incredible snorkeling and swim with sea turtles passing by or head right down the street to Jolly Hall for some beach combing and swimming!

Want to relax at the house? Have a massage right on the veranda while listening to the waves crash and feel the cool ocean breeze as it hits your skin. Not in the mood to cook? You can arrange for a chef to come to the house and cook you an authentic Bahamian meal! We also offer grocery shopping which can be done for you by our caretaker (for an additional fee) to make sure the house is ready with your food and beverages when you arrive.

One of the best ways to see Exuma is to get out on the water. Renting a boat or taking part in an excursion is the best way. There are many excursions available. We recommend swimming with the pigs, feeding the iguanas, visiting 007 Grotto Hole and see the mermaid play the piano at the bottom of the sea. You can also head over to Stocking Island to see starfish beach and sand dollar beach, feed some sting rays, and have a nice lunch at Coconut Club or Chat N’ Chill restaurant. Just minutes away, in downtown George Town, a water taxi can pick you up and take you to Stocking Island or you can call Elvis’ Water Taxi to pick you right from the house weather permitting.

By land, Great Exuma has some beautiful beaches. Explore the Tropic of Cancer beach on Little Exuma or head up to Coco Plum Beach to swing on the swings in the water and collect sand dollars. No matter which beach you decide to visit, you will be amazed by the color of the water and the powdery white sand between your toes. Downtown George Town has boutiques for our shop-till-you-drop vacationers. Head down to check out local vendors, the straw market, or to grab some lunch at one of the many restaurants.

The Take it Ease Sea House is located in the perfect spot. Five minutes to get to downtown George Town, two minutes away from a variety of fantastic restaurants, twenty-five minutes from the Emerald Bay Golf Club at Sandals Resort (for our golf enthusiasts) and ten minutes to get to the airport.

Great Exuma International Airport has direct flights from Miami and Charlotte (American Airlines), Atlanta (Delta), Fort Lauderdale (Silver Airways), Toronto, Canada (Air Canada) and Nassau (Bahamas Air or Western Air).

All Cancellations must be requested by e-mail to exuma@takeiteasesea.com or internet booking site. Tennant will receive a full refund for cancellations 60 days prior to check in. If the tenant requests a refund between 30-60 days of reservation the 50% deposit will be forfeited. Cancellations for any reason received 30 days or less prior to arrival forfeit the full amount of the reservation.
