This unit will have you close to the action of the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip! Within steps of bars, restaurants and entertainment. Sapphire Shores is located on the east end of the Strip between Geneva Township Park and GOTL Brewing Company.

Guests have access to the entire unit, designated fire pit and picnic table!

Sunset Vacation Rentals is fully staffed with a property manager, housekeeping staff and maintenance crew.

All guest receive 10% off Sunset Taxi services when picked up from a Sunset Vacation Rental property. Private tours are also available to visit local attractions and wineries.

Specifically for all Sunset Vacation Rentals guest street legal 6 seater golf carts are available for our guest to reserve and rent during their stay.

**There are 2 total units on site, all rented to vacationing guests. All entrances and spaces are private with the exclusion of the property beach. **

During your stay, we ask that you please:
• Do not remove heavy makeup with our bath linens.
• Do not use hair dye of any kind.
• Do not use bath linens to clean up any messes or spills.
• Pet owners – please refrain from allowing pets on furniture or bedding.
• Please clean up after your pet(s), both indoors and in the yard.
• Put any and all trash bags in the can outside.
• Pets are allowed in our units marked pet friendly only. A pet, or any evidence of a pet found on the property, that was not previously disclosed by charging you the pet fee and can result in immediate eviction. DOGS ONLY- maximum 2 dogs, unless previously authorized.
• Please note, this home is near Lake Erie, so you may encounter outdoor insects like spiders or mosquitoes. Refunds will not be issued due to area insects.

this location was very quiet, but it was off season. Location was great for our adventure of photographing eagles and other animals, along with some covered bridges in Ashtabula. Mary's diner, the Log Cabin Inn and the Boot Saloon all had great food and atmosphere.Very enjoyable time!

Its a super cute cottage. Hubby and i went up for a Valentines Day weekend. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice and hot.The first night everything smelled musty, our eyes were watering, nose was running. Second day and night we had Benedryl. Maybe this is normal being next to the lake? Also would have been nice to have the snow and ice cleared off the steps.

Returning guest, always enjoy staying here. Appreciated the location, short walk to the strip. Ideal location for the Monster Crawl. Very clean, beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Great place to stay for a single couple as the home is small.

The house was cute and very clean. Had everything you could need. I thought it was right on the lake but it was actually a front unit and the rear was next to the lake. Really liked the house and bed was comfortable!!!

The inside of the property was fantastic, clean, organized and nicely put together, The outside front porch needs some serious maintenance. The furniture was COVERED in cobwebs and spiderwebs and HUGE spiders everywhere, the furniture was dirty and because of all the spiders we were not able to even clean them off to sit on them. Also, the porch was dirty and peeling paint. Besides the front porch, we would stay here a million times over!

Great house and the place is on the end of strip near a park. The kitchen has everything you need. Best place I've stayed in the 10 yrs I've been there. Will definitely rebook for next year. Ginger( the dog) was very comfortable staying there and loved the front porch!!!! Cute house and really quiet and not much foot traffic which is great if you have a dog.

Very nice home with everything we needed and located in a quiet neighborhood. It is a 5 to 10 min walk to the strip and is located next to a park with a great lake view. The owners were quick to answer any questions that I had.

Weekend Getaway

The property is exactly as advertised (cute and comfortable) management was very communicative, and the entire process from reservation to check-in and check-out was easy! The property location was perfect for us; it is at the end of the strip, but close enough to walk to eveything in minutes! We enjoyed our stay here, and we hope to return soon!

This cottage was very cute and right on the lake. They had everything we needed for our short stay. It is pet friendly, and that is one of the reasons we chose it. The location is perfect, it was a quick walk to the strip and all of the stores and restaurants. There was also a very nice park just a few blocks away where our dog could play.

Clean home and convenient location

The home was very clean and conveniently located. It is walking distance to the strip and local park. The home was exactly as it listed! FYI for other visitors to GOTL, most of the town shuts down after Labor Day, and places are only open on the weekend though October. Wineries seem to be open year round!

Short Stay

The cottage is cute and clean. It’s small but the layout accommodated our family of four well. However, we ended up cutting our stay short by a night due to a neighbor that was calling the police for a noise complaint and for some reason blaming us. Not sure why since we were asleep with our two young children. That being said, we were awoken to police officers shining flashlights in our windows and banging on the door which in turn woke our kids and terrified them. This happened twice. The rental company didn’t really care and told us they “never had this problem” with the neighbor and offered zero compensation when I told them we were leaving because our kids didn’t feel safe spending one more night. Disappointing.

Great Weekend Trip

This property was perfect for my best friend and I! Everything was within walking distance on the strip and we took full advantage all weekend long. I highly recommend also booking through Sunset for a wine tour. Our driver was awesome and made sure she tailored our trip to our likes and wants. My only complaint was we didn’t use any outdoor furniture because everything was covered in spider webs and we didn’t have anything to clear them ourselves. All in all a great weekend trip though!
