Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie das Staubecken Heimbach, der Meuchelberg, der Mariawald, der Schiffsanleger mit Ausflügsmöglichkeiten zum Rur-und Obersee, die Rurtalsperre, das Jugendstil- Wasserkraftwerk von Heimbach, der Bahnhof Heimbach, eine Bushaltestelle in Richtung Schleiden (Wilder Kermeter) sind in unmittelbarer Nähe und fußläufig super zu erreichen. "Het huis was zeer compleet ingericht en van alle gemakken en luxe voorzien. Het was werkelijk perfect te noemen. Fijne badkamers, uitstekende keuken, mooie ruime slaapkamers met goede bedden. Parkeergelegenheid bij het huis voor 2 auto’s. Bij ontvangst was er een doos eieren van de eigenaar. Er was zelfs overal voldoende toiletpapier, tissues, handzeep etc. "

"Eine sehr tierfreundliche Unterkunft. Die Gastgeber sind nahe, lassen einen aber in Ruhe. Bei Fragen und Möglichkeiten mit den Pferden zu agieren sind sie offen und hilfsbereit. Herbert lässt Kinder, die wirklich Interesse an der Arbeit auf einem Reiterhof zeigen, auch mitmachen. Das hat uns besonders gefallen. Für Allergiker stellt die Unterkunft eine Herausforderung dar."
