"Good location in CBD, easy walk to Salamanca marjets & restaurants, bit difficult to access by car just keep eye out for VIP parking sign out front. Breakfast was Good & staff all pleasant & helpful "

"Lovely hotel in the centre of Hobart, 10 minites walk to the harbour and to most attractions in the town. Lots of good restaurants and bar choices, and the hotel has a fantastic bar. Cheap onsite parking for guests. Highly recommend"

"The accommodation we stayed in were converted stables. The rooms were well appointed, recently decorated and warm (we stayed in winter). The accommodation is annexed to the hotel. The hotel is the epitome of a country pub with traditional pub fair, eight ball and friendly locals in their seats at the bar. Not a refined experience but everything we were after, we were comfortable, fed well and welcomed."

"Heritage building, well maintained. Rooms have recently been updated and still have an older feel just due to the nature of building itself. Comfortable bed. Staff at reception/bar super lovely and helpful! Continental breakfast was great. Accessible location. Very limited parking but fairly good access to street parking. Would recommend. "

"Parking was cheap and convenient. Room was quite large, bed comfy, great shower, excellent daily servicing. A great sized window that even opens a little for fresh air. Staff were incredibly helpful."

"The location was great and very convenient. It was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant. Disliked the pungent smell as we walked into the foyer. It eventually made it's way into our room making us feeling nauseous."

"Fantastic little boutique hotel housed in an historic former school for the Blind and Deaf. The rooms are generously sized, beds comfy, staff polite and helpful, and it has a brilliant restaurant. One thing that I would recommend is to install heaters in the bathrooms as they get quite chilly. Also employ a bellboy/girl/person to help the reception (they do almost everything!). Will stay here again. :) "
