"The apartment was a great base camp for our travels in the upper pennisula. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice. I do agree with another review about the bathtub being slippery when taking a shower. We bought a bath mat which helped tremendously."

"Incredible! stay. Accommodation was just as described. Very roomy, clean, with a large bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. Location was very quiet with beautiful views. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the deer. "This ended up being the perfect choice for us. Nice cozy place to come back to after a day of exploring. Beautiful sunsets over the lake, you can have a fire if you like or spend some time in the wood barrel sauna! "We came to hike so was great location-relatively short drives to copper harbor, eagle harbor, McLain State park, falls etc.. calumet area has options for dining, groceries etc so you don’t have to drive to Houghton, unless desired. Apartment was clean, relaxing and nicely decorated. Would stay again!!"

"Property wasn’t much to look at outside but inside was perfectly clean. Good layout for our family of 5. Appliances clean and ample kitchen wares. Owners were awesome and good communications. "Was a wonderful place to stay!!! We were up for a wedding and the location was perfect! We were able to sneak in some rock hunting and then come back to relax with a home cooked meal before sleeping for the events of the next day! Beds and entire home was very nice and peaceful.
