Moonfall Cottage is a veteran owned property. I purchased the cottage at first site just because I was drawn into it's inviting, homey, welcoming energy and was so spotlessly clean; if I didn't know better, I'd think the former owners cleaned the dirt in the yard prior to the sale! This dreamy little cottage offers easy driving access, with no steep winding mountain roads. One floor living with no stairs makes our cottage ideal for everyone. Hardwood floors throughout gives that warm make yourself at home feeling. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare that perfect meal or light snack is in the pantry. A Keurig coffee brewer along with coffee grounds, coffee pods, creams and sugars are provided in the kitchen. Not into coffee? We also offer a wide selection of teas for your enjoyment. The kitchen is stocked with soaps, paper towels and trash bags as well. Only the finest bed linens are stretched on top of the super comfortable/Willenburg Tufted queen bed and you will find soft snuggly towels in the bathroom. Extra linens; if needed for the Murphy bed are provided in the living room closet. The bathroom has all the amenities of home with a hair dryer, a variety of soaps, shampoos and toilet paper. The living room has a sofa so comfortable that it envelopes you in cozy comfort. Two recliners make watching your favorite program or movie a special treat. The 42" TV is equipped with Roku so you don't have to miss your favorite program here in the mountains. High speed wifi is available throughout the house and on the outdoor patio. A gas grill is located on the patio with table and chairs and umbrella to enjoy the outdoor dining experience. Special touches, comfortable furniture and cozy bedding are awaiting you and that someone special at Moonfall Cottage!
Note: We are also pet friendly, well behaved potty trained pets up to 40 lbs are always welcome for an additional $50 non-refundable fee. Guests and Pet parents will be held fully responsible for any damages should they occur.
Foot note for those traveling into the Great Smokey Mountain Park. This year 2024 in efforts to better control traffic in the park you will now be required to purchase parking passes available at the Sugarlands Information Office as you enter the park area.

This cabin was spotless clean and smelled wonderful. It was beautiful and so homey. The host let us book another day. Had the place done earlier than the 3 pm check in. Had wonderful touches mints in the bedroom coffee's, teas . We would stay there again if were ever in town.

I didn't cook snything but it was very well stocked with everything you'd need (pots, pans, utensils) coffee was provided via grounds, creamer and coffee pot. It was spacious, quiet, secluded and had an excellent layout. The host was very communicative. I would absolutely recommend this little cottage.

This cottage is extremely clean, well stocked with all your needs in the kitchen & bathroom. Great place if you want someplace quiet & relaxing. We spent our days in Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge so it was a little farther for us to drive.

Mountainside location about 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Being out of town is a good thing and this is definitely in the mountains. Unit was well equipped and well kept. Could use some updates but that didn't pose any issue at all. Comfortable bed and good hot water. TVs and internet worked well

The cottage was lovely, not to far from downtown Gatlinburg. Very private, although there is neighbors. Their barn blocks them. Only thing missing is a mountain view. Spent most of our evening enjoying the back patio area. Definitely would rent again. Beyond clean, spotless!

You definitely want to book this cute little cottage. It was perfect for me, my husband, and our pup, but could easily accommodate 2 additional adults due to the murphy bed. The host thought of everything including a bowl of snacks waiting on us upon arrival. The cottage is for sure pet friendly. What we loved most was the peacefulness of the area but being no more than 20 minutes from the hub bub of the strip, as well as, great hiking in the Smokey Mountains. Thanks again!

Perfect, private space

My husband and I have stayed here twice this year during our weekend getaways to Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. It’s just outside of the touristy area, making it a quiet, peaceful getaway. The bed and furniture are nice and comfortable. The house is very clean and we love the convenience of the washer and dryer.

We were very comfortable, feeling completely at ease while on the property. The property is a great space for a couple. Because of the Murphy bed, an additional couple, or a family with children could be comfortable on this property as well. We also enjoyed the functionality of the property as well. Additionally, the wi-fi worked well, even through the stormy weather.

Wonderful Cottage

My husband and I celebrated our 40th anniversary in the Smokies and this quaint cottage was just perfect! Easy to find, well stocked, communication with Laura the owner was wonderful. This time of year was so lovely, everything is turning green and blooming. The neighbor next door was friendly and has a BEAUTIFUL old barn you could look out the kitchen window and see. There are so many good things to say about this cottage, don't hesitate to book! Good Wifi connection if you need that. Loved sitting out on the back patio. We want to go back again someday! We enjoyed the Arts and Crafts Community very much.I stopped at Painted Bear Coffee twice, very nice and Alewine Pottery was probably my favorite!

Quiet Mountain Cottage

We just finished our second stay at your Mountain Cottage and enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very clean and located a short drive to Gatlinburg and the park. I would highly recommend the cottage.

Quick visit

We enjoyed the place, it was perfect for me because I can not walk up steps. The only issue we had was the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, it was hard as a rock. We both woke up with our backs hurting.The second night we slept on the murphy bed.

The Great Escape

No drama except the roads, I actually felt safer driving in Costa Rica. All in all the Moonfall Cottage lived up to it's billing. Well presented nice decor a d everything works.
