Mountain Lake Hideaway is a stunning and private two-level log cabin with one bedroom (queen bed), one bathroom, and a separate downstairs game room located in a natural wooded setting offering the feeling of seclusion in the heart of the Arts & Crafts Community with wooded mountain views and within walking distance to a nearby pond. This beautifully decorated log cabin is situated with convenience to downtown Gatlinburg, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Pigeon Forge. For those looking for relaxation to enjoy the scenery, the covered three-sided wraparound deck offers two wooden rockers, a wooden swing, a gas grill, and a hot tub. A separate game room downstairs with its own outside entrance offers a Pool Table, Games, Smart TV, Futon, Recliner, and Bistro Table for 2 along with a covered private balcony. This romantic log cabin is accented with a stone gas fireplace, fully furnished kitchen, washer & dryer, Roku Smart TVs, Jacuzzi, large private yard area, and all the luxuries for your home away from home. Property could use some dusting fan was on and you could see all the particles falling, the curtains and around the floor boards. Also, it smells like mold in the bathroom. The shower door needs fixed on the left side. Other than that good location, but doesn't have a view of any mountain. You for sure need WiFi in that location.

Anniversary trip

We enjoyed our time in the cabin. It was a good size for the two of us but it would be harder with a bigger group. Had a hard time figuring out what to do with our bags. And the bathroom could use better lighting. But overall it was just as described and I loved that it was secluded. Anna was very responsive. It was a nice vacation!

Cabin clean. Bed comfortable. Deck swing was nice. Couldn't cancle the reservation 2 hours after booking without jumping through alot of hoops to get my money back, so just decided to go. The cabin is nice but very small, should be listed as a Honeymoon cabin, Not "sleeps 6". It was too small for 4 people.

The cabin was adorable, and we all loved our time there! I loved reading on the porch in the mornings, and the kitchen worked great for the pasta we made. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a cabin with friends!

Not the best.

This cabin isn’t worth the 800 dollars we spent to stay here. The first issue is the game room isn’t connected to the house. The lower half and the upper half are not connected. The lower have is the game room. You have to walk outside and go downstairs to get to it. This is a safety concern considering we did in fact see a bear (pic included) although it was nice to see one, it was a little unsettling knowing we could’ve been stuck in the game room because of this bear being so close. The second issue is that the pictures of this cabin are misleading. The cabin is not in a secluded area. There are three other cabins. One being so close we share the same driveway. The living room area was shockingly small. The pictures really portrays it to be huge, it is not. There is also no privacy in the hot tub. The hot tub is overlooking two other cabins that can see directly into the hot tub area. I did see the other reviews for the bed issues, the bed has been updated and it is comfortable. The third issue is the jet tub in the bathroom. I love me some bubble baths but I would recommend running the jets a couple of times before using. I filled the tub and ran the jets for about five minutes and once drained, there was an absence amount of dirt and grime coming out. I wouldn’t consider this cabin the worst ever. It was close to everything, and the owner responded quickly if we needed anything. But overall I wouldn’t stay here for four nights. Maybe a night or two.
The bear we encountered. This was in the game room. The stairs in the picture lead to the entrance to the top of the cabin. You have to go outside to get to game room.. keep that in mind if you have kids.

Great Getaway

The cabin was super cute! Very clean and a great location. We were close enough to downtown Gatlinburg if we wanted to go do things but it felt secluded enough that we felt tucked away. It was a great experience!

Nice, clean cabin with uncomfortable mattress

The cabin was pretty and very clean. I received several messages asking about how the stay was, but when I responded that we were leaving early because of the mattress being very uncomfortable, I never received a reply. The mattress is a very old spring mattress with a topper on it, and the whole thing sinks in the middle. If the mattress was replaced, it wouldn't be too bad. It is definitely not private and the layout is kinda odd, but it was very clean. I would not stay there again. Hocontinuto
