Guest Access:
Two-level home with stairs required for access.
ATTENTION: The driveway is very steep. A two wheel drive vehicle can drive up the driveway during most seasons, but may have problems in the event of inclement weather or winter. However, during the wintertime we highly recommend four wheel drive or all wheel drive in case of snow and ice. You do have the option of parking your vehicle at the bottom of the driveway and walking up. No refunds will be given due to the steep driveway.

Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Been going to Gatlinburg for years and finally we saw a mother bear and her cub. I can't stop talking about it.

Location and amenities were as described. Fun being right under Ober Gatliburg. Hot tub was nice after hiking! However: 2 of 3 sliders upstairs did not have functioning locks, the upstairs bath sink wobbled, the carpet smelled strongly of dog in the big bedroom, the sofa bed had not been vacuumed in a while, and the tall kitchen chairs were pretty wobbly. Take the note about the driveway and the bears seriously - my old transmission was working real hard, even when we parked a little down the hill! Bears were around most nights as evidenced by muddy prints around the doors and the hole in the hot tub cover (and them eating out of our car when I forgot to lock it one night). That kept things exciting and memorable. The owner was responsive when I contacted him on a couple other matters though. AC and heat worked great and it was convenient if you want to eat or shop in Gatlinburg or get into the mountains and hike.

Unit does NOT have a private bath per bedroom. 2 of 3 bedrooms share a weird Jack&Jill type bathroom. Hot tub TOTALLY unusable. Green water, hole in cloth cover (not cover in pictures). Driveway is SUPER steep. Need 4WD if wet leaves or you’ll be walking you and your stuff up. Kitchen cabinets are a mess - 3 forks and 5 sweet wine glasses and 3 coffee mugs but no other drinking glasses. Needs attention.

Comfortable cabin on a hill in Gatlinburg. The host was responsive to my questions/inquiries. Great place to stay after a long day of being out and about. Nice quiet place.
