"This a beautiful property, we mostly enjoyed our stay. However we were disappointed on our first night as we were assigned a room with a lot of street noise, as a result we got no sleep! Additionally the bathroom was tiny and very outdated, not what you'd expect from a 5 star establishment. I gathered that small bathrooms seem to be an overall theme throughout the hotel. On the second night we changed rooms and had a much better experience (with a slightly bigger bathroom and no street noise). ...

"It’s a beautiful property. The house was built in 1885 so in need of some maintenance but it is full of lovely architectural details and antiques. The breakfast was very nice. We enjoyed our stay, my only complaint was the bed was very hard. "

"Unique little hotel in a great location. We loved the cathedral ceiling in our room, the balcony and the renovated bathroom was wonderful. The hot breakfast was one of the highlights of each of the four days we were at the Embassy. I suggest allowing hotel guests to take small things like tea bags, fruit and muffins up to their rooms. It feels a bit like guests are policed by the kitchen/wait staff at breakfast."

"Dashwood Manor is clean and quiet. It's in an ideal location between the beach and Seaside and the lively Cook Street village. Walking trails are easily accessible to incredible views. The breakfast served was delicious and the staff was welcoming. I wish my stay was longer. "

"Enjoyed my stay. It was a bucket list item! It was clean! It was quiet. There are robes and I love dark towels! The bed is warm with a firm mattress. At home I have a 4 inch memory foam topper, so a firm mattress was a very different sleep for me. My favorite was having a seal swim by as I was having my morning coffee! "Hotel location, staff, and cleanliness on point. I was aware there was a daily fee for parking, however what wasn’t made clear intol we checked in, is the paid parking is valet service only. In & out privileges accessible but you have to call each time for valet to get your car. "
