Villa Roi Soleil sits in a peaceful residential pocket on the edge of Saint-Tropez, set back from the bustle yet close to everything that makes the town famous. The nearest beach, Plage de la Bouillabaisse, is around a fifteen-minute walk along the bay, while the legendary Old Port, with its yachts, waterfront cafés and the daily market on the Place des Lices, is just a few minutes away by car. Wander the cobbled lanes of the old town up to the Citadelle for sweeping views over the gulf, especially lovely at sunset.

Beyond the town, the celebrated Pampelonne beaches and the beach clubs of Ramatuelle are a 15-minute drive across the peninsula, and the hilltop village of Gassin, one of France\'s prettiest, looks out over the whole Gulf of Saint-Tropez. Port Grimaud, Sainte-Maxime and the wider Riviera are all within easy reach for day trips by road or boat.
