DON"T STAY HERE!!! We arrived the first night and found that the house was not cleaned. Was able to contact the owner. At first the owner was nice and apologetic. He offered a house right next door for the night until he could get the other house cleaned. Then he became rude and told us that he can cancel our stay and we can stay at the Motel 6 down the road. I was expressing our disappointment that we had to stay in one house and then in the morning pack everything up and move to the house we were originally suppose to stay in. I told him that I felt we should get some type of refund for our inconvenience. I asked that he refund our first night and he agreed. I later sent him a message stating what we agreed on and I asked him to confirm the message. He never did. After our trip I sent him another message asking him to keep his commitment. He never did and I have never received any refund. I would have settled on some type of refund if he would have communicated with me.
As far as the house is concerned the house was not great. The floors always felt dirty. It had a musty smell. There is not enough supplies in the house. The house says it sleeps 12 but there is only 8 towels. In the kitchen there is only 4 forks. We had one garbage bag. The drawers in the kitchen were falling apart.
I can overlook a lot of things but when you become rude and fail to communicate it makes it hard to enjoy yourself.
