NORTH PARK ENTRANCE AT GARDINER. This Yellowstone Cabin Rental Is On Private Acreage Five Miles From The Park's North Gate with the Best Wildlife Watching And Cutthroat Trout Fishing!

Charming cabin built in 2009 with two bedrooms that sleeps 5 located just five minutes from Yellowstone Park's North Entrance on several acres of private property. Perfect for travelers who want easy access to the famous Northern Range and Lamar Valley with its bison, elk, deer, wolves, bears, AND fishing for world-famous Yellowstone cutthroat trout!

This beautiful cabin is unlike all other vacation rental properties in the area. Lying in an extremely private location just above Highway 89 north of Gardiner, Montana, and the Roosevelt Arch, the cabin is easily accessed by a well-maintained, short, 300 yard-long Private Drive.

This setting provides you with total solitude and isolation from any hustle and bustle of the busy roadways leading to/from the park. However, at the same time, when needed, you are just minutes away from restaurants, the market, and shops in Gardiner or a bit further away in Livingston and Bozeman.

Built on a log frame, this cabin has all modern amenities yet has a great amount of rustic appeal including beautiful hardwood floors. It has enormous windows giving you unmatched views of Yellowstone's Electric Peak, Devil's Slide, Dome Mountain, and many other spectacular geological features. Wildlife abound here and deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, or bison are seen on the meadows and mountain slopes near the cabin. Often during the spring and fall, they are standing right in the cabin's yard. No-where else in the northern Rockies will you find wildlife this abundant and close in a natural setting.

Horses graze nearby, and the Yellowstone River, home to world-class trout fishing, leaves the park and passes just a few hundred yards below you.

There are many access sites to the Yellowstone River very near to the cabin, one within easy walking distance (that is a very great fishing spot...just ask our boys!).

Being near Gardiner, our cabin is at the home of the Yellowstone Forever, a long-standing educational institute offering numerous courses in the park. The Electric Peak Cabin is a perfect place to stay when visiting and attending these courses.

Perfect!

The Electric Peak Cabin is the perfect get away! It was close to Yellowstone but far enough away from the park that it was relaxing. Todd, the owner, was fabulous and great to talk with. He was responsive to messages. While the cabin is near other houses and vacation rentals, its location makes it feel deceptively isolated. Herds of elk we’re passing by when we were there. Definitely recommend this cabin.

Charming log cabin near Gardiner

Beautiful first visit to Montana and Yellowstone. Loved our first VRBO experience with Todd and the Electric Peak cabin. It was wonderful to be in our own little space away from everyone, but still be close enough to town and the north entrance to Yellowstone. Thank you, Todd! We'll never forget this vacation!

Great get awsy

We came and stayed so we would be close to the entrance to Yellowstone park. We spent 4 nights and spent everyday in the park. Awesome to be able to come 5 miles outside of Gardiner, north.We would return.

Great place

Very peaceful location and easy access to the park and hot springs. Bed we slept in was very comfortable. Sitting on the deck with the view was great. The only negative was the futon furniture was uncomfortable to sit on but we weren't at the house sitting that much since we were in the park most of the day. I would definitely stay here again. Todd was also very responsive any time I reached out. Great place!!!

Honeymoon!

My husband and I always had a Montana trip on our bucket list, we made it happen as part of our honeymoon! This cabin was cozy and have amazing views right from the front porch! As well as amazing wildlife… buffalo, osprey nest right on the property, mule deer, and lots and lots of elk!!

Perfection

The little cabin at Electric Peak exceeded our expectations. The location is stunning and so close to Yellowstone. We regularly saw elk nearby and had a family of deer visit the property each evening. My kids were absolutely enchanted! Todd, our host, was super responsive and friendly! The cabin is well stocked and cozy. Perfect for boardgames and movies after a long day of exploring the park.

Amazing

This cabin is cozy and in a perfect location. Good food around, I recommend Cowboy’s Grill. If you are looking to fish there are good spots around too. Like 8 minutes away from the North Entrance of YNP. So much wildlife around the property and looks out to Devil’s Slide.

Amazing host and cabin

This place is our home away from home for 6 years now. We love this place and how close it is to Yellowstone. The elk come and visit every morning. Absolutely beautiful. Todd is excellent host. He always responses promptly and makes sure we have everything we need. Highly highly recommend staying here.

Amazing location

This cabin has stunning views of the mountains. There were several mule deer near the cabin when we arrived and there was a herd of elk near the cabin each morning. The shower is unusually small, but not a big deal. Kitchen had everything you could need and there are binoculars in the cabin that were great to spot animals. We would definitely recommend this property.

Anniversary week

We came into a cabin that was perfectly equipped. They even had binoculars so we could see everything around us. Our first morning was drinking coffee while watching the elk roam in the yard. The mountains are majestic. It was a great stay. Curtains on the front window and door would have been nice When the sun comes thru it gets very warm.

Quiet neighborhood, beautiful views.

Our family enjoyed being greeted by elk as we pulled into the cabin. Every day we saw new wildlife roaming around. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for our first trip to Yellowstone. We especially enjoyed the binoculars being there because it wasn’t something we thought to bring. Todd was very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. We definitely recommend booking this cabin and we are hoping to return next year!

Charming cabin outside of Gardiner

Only stayed for 1 night, but wish we could stay longer! Cabin looks just like the pictures, cozy and charming. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware, plates/cups, and condiments. The shower was small but worked just fine. Bathroom only has soap so bring shampoo/conditioner; towels were provided. All in all a great stay!

Fabulous

The cabin was exactly as listed. Beautiful! We loved the elk every morning and evening right out the front door! Spectacular view, this is the most time we have ever spent at a vacation rental we left later in the morning busy watching the wildlife surrounding the cabin and always returned early to be back in time to watch them in the evening.

Nice property

Overall it was a very nice property and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing that could easily be changed is the sprinkler went off in the middle of the night hitting the window of the one bedroom. Otherwise, it met all of our needs and expectations. Loved the front porch!

Perfect little treasure right outside of yellowstone

This property was amazing. Super clean and very comfy. We really enjoyed the addition of binoculars and outdoor seating to watch the animals outside of our stay. For being neighbors to a horse ranch you cannot smell them which I think some people would be happy to know! We got to enjoy the view of beautiful sunsets and watch elk as they grazed on the grasses of the property. The bedding could use a little bit of an upgrade but overall the bedrooms were cozy and allowed us to get a good night’s rest! I would rebook this place 100 times.over. We had only one full day in Yellowstone and because of its location we could do everything we wanted to
