"This property is in a great and lively location in Cihangir. Do be aware that there is a fair bit of noise from bars and venues in the area, but manageable if you too are planning to be up a bit later into the evening or if you're a heavy sleeper. The room I was given was beautiful, with high ceilings, nice windows that open to a courtyard and plenty of space. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and had good pressure. Biggest issue was that the front desk does not seem to be regularly manned....

"Great location. Clean and safe neighbourhood. Walkable to Taksim Square and the Galata Bridge and waterfront. Clean, beautiful room. High ceiling. Very nice bathroom. Water pressure is ok. Hospitable staff. Breakfast was very good. Make sure it’s included or it’s 15€ per person."

Despite the rain and the early morning hour, he still came out with an umbrella and walked with us—honestly, it felt like a savior had appeared in that moment. "In addition to a central location (a 1-minute walk to Instiklal Street and a 10-minute walk to Galata Tower), we commend the staff (Dogu, Mustafa, and Berk) for their exceptional professionalism, hospitality, and willingness to go above and beyond. We loved our stay at The Westist, a beautiful, artistic boutique hotel, and will definitely stay here again."

"The room we booked was advertised as having a city view; however, it only overlooked the front street and the building directly opposite, which felt misleading and disappointing. Additionally, the stairwell lighting was very poor, making it difficult and unsafe to use when not taking the lift. Housekeeping was also below standard. My sheets were not changed for the entire 4-night stay, despite there being a visible blood stain on them from a previous guest. The breakfast was enjoyable, though...
