Really clean, beautiful setting and friendly staff. The food was good too. The only reason for dropping a star was the pool facilities. What a gem of a small, cosy hotel! I booked a small double, but we were upgraded to a suite with a sea view, as it was my daughters birthday. Lion Hotel and Studio Apartments
Excellent staff at hotel. Upgraded our room FOC due to incorrect details on booking site used. Very helpful and understanding. Great service at breakfast and evening restaurant. Lovely location in a nice quiet village

Macdonald Plas Talgarth Holiday Resort
Initial impressions were good , but I was disappointed when entering the room unfortunately. The problem with a kitchen and bedroom in the same room is the occasional cooking grease smell from previous use whilst laying in bed on an evening.

Riverside Cottage, Abergwynant (sleeps up to 3) - don't forget your binoculars!
The cottage was comfortable, with good amenities, nice and quiet and good location
