Our stay at Klondyke House was great! We stayed in Galway for 10 days and used it as our home base for our many day trips. Elizabeth was a great host and available to answer all our questions and even suggested different areas to visit. We rented a car so never used the bus although there was a stop at the end of the driveway. There was a Tesco Express a short 4 minute walk away and a larger grocery store that was a little bit further but still within walking distance. We did go into town a few times and always walked as parking seemed pretty scarce. (An easy 30-40 minute walk each way.) I would highly recommend this property and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Modern and clean. Easy check in and great communication the entire time with the owner, who checked in frequently to ensure things went smoothly.Nice to have two bathrooms for 4 adults. Mattress in downstairs beds could use a rotation. We appreciate the 11 am checkout - makes it easier for jet lagged travelers.

Our host Elizabeth was fantastic and great with our questions and communication. The apartment was cute and clean! It was great to get to do laundry halfway through our trip and kitchen was a definite bonus as we’d been staying in hotels.

Out of the way get away

The apartment is modern and very clean. Host was very communicative and answered any questions we had. If you are looking for something a little more out of the way this is the place for you. We didn’t find the walking distance of most bars in our comfort zone, but the bus stop is very close to the left and Ubers were on the cheap side. If you have a car parking was included!

Fun with family

We took a family vacation from Florida with 2 teens my husband and I and our 18month old. This unit was plenty room for all of us. The host was very responsive and had a portable crib ready and set up so I didn’t have to go through the trouble of bringing one. It was clean and comfortable and the location was great for us as we rented a car and had plans to visit several of the surrounding areas. I would stay again if we return.

Lovely apartment and great location

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect for our stay. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. The check in process was easy and the owner replied quickly to messages when we had any queries. The apartment is in a great location with an easy walking route in to the city centre. Definitely recommend.

It was a good stay, a little cramped with 6 people, but acceptable. The washer/dryer combo gave us a bit of trouble, not drying our clothes completely, but almost. We managed. There is a Bus stop right at the end of the driveway. It took a little time to figure out how to get to downtown, but the bus driver was extremely helpful in telling us where to get picked up, and what bus to hop on. We used GPS to figure which bus stop was our return, because the route was different coming home vs going into the city. Galway city, City center, was wonderful. Lots of music, shopping, colors. Hard to get a sitting spot to hear traditional music. A nice time overall

Galway girls and boys.

We took our dad on a trip of a lifetime. Buffalo, New York to Dublin to Galway and back. We spent 3 days here and it was clean, centrally located, clean, and easy in and out. Parking was no problem. Laundry and bathrooms were perfect for a multi day stay. Kitchen was more than enough for what we needed. Getting to Eyre Square was a quick Uber ride away. Walking distance to grocery, bus stop outside the door. Balcony to look out in the morning and if you look over your shoulder to the left, there are real Irish cows in a pasture 200 meters away. Galway is special, enjoy traditional Irish music at Tigh Coili. When eating out order the salmon, sea bass, or trout. Always get the seafood chowder, it's next level. So glad we booked this property, after our nights out we all relaxed in the common room and discussed what we saw and shared pictures of the day. Can't recommend it highly enough. Slainte!
