Gorgeous beachfront condo in Pointe West, right next to Beach Club! Whitecaps features two bedrooms and two baths, this vacation residence is the perfect place to enjoy your Pointe West vacation. It is located on the second level which allows you to easily enjoy the beautiful beachfront view from the living or dining space in this open floor plan condo. A fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare a dinner and entertain guests at the same time. Our condo is just a short walk to the private Beach Club where you can take advantage of all the resort amenities.

This condo offers: a king bedroom, a second bedroom with bunk beds twin over twin and a full bed.. Sleeps 6 comfortably. 2 High Def LED TV's, WIFI, living room nicely decorated and a fully equipped kitchen.
A storage locker is provided with this unit.

Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds.

RESORT AMENITIES & FEE:
Pointe West Beach Club, open year-round, is a privately owned/separate entity, offering resort style amenities for guest enjoyment.The optional fee is $25 per person (ages 4 & up), per stay (not per day) should you wish to enjoy these amenities. The fee includes use of the Beach Club pool, the seasonally heated Bayside/lazy river pool, hot tubs, a basketball & pickle ball court. Per Beach Club regulations, a maximum of 3 guests per bedroom is allowed for purchase.

The Pointe Restaurant is now open seasonally for lunch and dinner.

The Beach Club will directly email you an invoice for payment, should your party wish to purchase and enjoy the resort amenities. Once paid, you will pick up your amenity wristbands at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. *Please note their fees are non-refundable, we suggest waiting to closer to arrival for purchase. For questions about the fee or amenities you may contact the Beach Club at

**It is important to note that we manage the rental of your vacation home only. We are not in charge of the community grounds and Beach Club amenities to include the restaurant,pools, beach, or elevators.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
*Check in time is 4:00 pm and check out is 10:00 a.m. *You are welcomed before check-in & after check-out to enjoy the beach and other resort amenities if you have purchased Beach Club wristbands.
*Please note that all condos are accessible by stairs or elevators. In the event that elevators are placed out of service, stairs will be required. There are no refunds or alternatives for access to your vacation rental.
*Age Requirement is 26+ *No Prom, Graduation or High School groups are permitted even with chaperones, please!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
*31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased.
*Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement.

We had an amazing stay when we previously visited this condo at the beginning of summer. At the end of August we went back and had to address several issues during visit with management company. It could have been a more comfortable stay. Overall nice view, and location.

Pros and cons

So first of all the property was awesome, the best location, private beach, cant beat where it is not in the conjested area at all we didn't mind making trips to eat or shop. The pool is amazing everything was neat and clean. We have no complaints about the unit we stayed in either. Now for the not great things! We booked quite a long time ahead so we paid what we paid I get it. So we did get an email that the elevators may be down ok no big deal, then the entire unit had no parking available underneath, then we looked online and seen the restaurant and bar were closed but they were set to be partially open the weekend we arrived but no liquor license, well if you have no liquor license then guests should be allowed to bring in drinks. Then they had to fix the deck so the entrance to where we parked a unit over was closed so had to walk around. The bathrooms and locker rooms at the pool were closed down, the fitness center, game room closed. The closest bathroom was a single bathroom upstairs. This place I am sure is amazing unfortunately we just had a few things all fall the week we were there which not a huge deal but feel our price should have been adjusted accordingly.liquorlicense.... well ok. license deleunit

This property is located next to the walkover to the beach. It was nice having coffee in the morning and a drink at night on the balcony with a clear view to the beach.

Beautiful Beach View Condo

This is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We’ve stayed at multiple Pointe West listings and this was by far the cleanest with the nicest amenities (fluffy towels, keurig, newer pots/pans, nice outdoor furniture). It has great access to the Beach Club and private beach. We will definitely be back!

Great condo!

We loved our stay here making memories with our family. This is our 5th time at Pointe West and as always had a great time. The condo is beautiful and it had everything that the listing said it did. My only complaint are she shower heads. Having 3 daughters and myself we couldn’t wash our hair. Not enough water at all so after a day in the sand, we had to use the kitchen sink. But overall we loved it here!

Great place to stay. Very close to beach club and beach walkover. Access to storage locker to store your sandy things after beach time. Nice beach view and everything was excellent.

Great place to stay

We liked the proximity to the beach club and boardwalk to the beach. Still had privacy as the unit faces away from the beach club. Great view. Dishwasher could use to be updated and the kitchen was lacking some utensils. Overall a great place to stay!

Nice beach location

Everything was good with a couple of exceptions. Had trouble getting in the door on the first night. Poor lighting so could not see the numbers on the backlit lock. Touched the pad to bring on the backlight but in doing so you push the first number and if it isn't the first number of the code it doesn't work. Called the number on the reservation but only got voicemail. Finally determined where the correct first number was so I could push that location first. The next day the door latch system was difficult to open. Had to put in the code, turn the knob and forcefully push the door open. In that process, my watch band got snagged by the door frame and was broken. Called the resort office and they basically said that is too bad the owner needs to fix that. So instead, I fixed it by lubricating the mechanism. The door latch mechanism to the balcony was completely frozen up from the salt air. The latch on the doorknob portion was frozen in place and would not latch to the door frame. We had to use the deadbolt to keep the door closed so the wind wouldn't blow it open. Other than that, this is a nice condo with a great view of the gulf. The only other thing that was a little irritating was the Roku TV. Not a fan of Roku.

This property was amazing! I had to do a training for work (on zoom) for 2 days and wanted to get away while I did it. It was the perfect getaway - the condo is SO SO cute, and it's so easy to access the pool and the beach! My view of the ocean was perfect during the training, and I loved that the condo was pet friendly. My dog had more fun than me at the beach :) I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful- will be back!

We just came back from visiting “Whitecaps” and are already wanting to book our next trip! The unit was very clean, spacious and a perfect set up for our family of 4. My kids loved it! Best location in the property if you want to be close to the action of the Beach club. Unit is fully stocked with all you need.
