- The check in/out was smooth, everything automated, no surprise- The host was very responsive and accommodating for a late check out- The place was as described and as expected- The bathroom and kitchen were well stocked, way better than average- The sleeping experience was good: comfy mattresses, dark curtains and blinds, no noiseWe always choose the dawn for it's clean grounds, easy access to everything.

The condo was great and the location was fantastic. The only complaint is that the track for the sliding door needs to be cleaned because the door is extremely difficult to open and close. Otherwise it was absolutely fantastic!

A perfect short weekend

The condo was perfect in location and amenities. Beach access was a quick walk across the road. Next door was a Walmart and a corner gas station so everything was within walking distance. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and helpful.

Excellent location, easy beach access, two lovely pools on site.

We enjoyed our stay, no complaints on the condo though we spent minimal time there. Both rooms had extremely soft sheets and comfortable mattresses. The only hiccup was that the sliding door to the patio needs repair, it’s very difficult to get open.

We had a great time! The sliding glass door needs attention. You have to lift and pull to get it open. Other than that nice place. Wish you had an elevator! haha

The guy at the check-in desk was very rude, started to give me the wrist bands but ran to the pool for over 30 minutes.We were unable to adjust the thermostat and left a few messages with the host, no reply, so it was HOT. The sliding glass door was off track and very difficult to move, so we had limited time on the patio.

Almost perfect

This condo is spacious, honestly had everything we needed and then some. The picture from the balcony doesn’t do this place justice, you can see the beach really well. The only issue is the sliding glass door. My 14 year old and my mom could not even open the door which meant if they wanted to go on balcony and we weren’t there or awake yet they had to wait. Hopefully this get fixed since it’s been mentioned before but other than that we loved this condo!

We are so close to the beach. The basic necessities for a family and a short stay are here. Pool area is a great. Close to restaurants and grocery. Be aware that this is a 3rd floor condo and requires stair climbing.

We were charged a cleaning fee as part of our room charge. Arrived to find a “tip jar” for cleaning staff & notes pinned to the walls, throughout the condo with instructions on how to clean up after ourselves. We also received visitors prior to our check out time, who were the next guests staying in the condo. They were told they could check in early. What??? What a cluster of confusion that turned out to be.

This property was PERFECT for our family of 5 with 3 teen boys. It was spotlessly clean, had a stocked kitchen that lacked for nothing (table settings for four and a few chipped plates, so we used paper plates), a working ice maker that makes plenty of ice for 5 large water bottles, plenty of beach towels, enough bedding and tons of space. Easily walkable and extremely close to the beach and a crosswalk right as you leave the gate next to the building. It has been beautifully furnished and it's really lovely. I'm already planning to book again for next summer!

Perfect location and property!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was equipped with everything you need, has a beautiful view of the pool and ocean, the property itself is lovely, and we had no issues with check-in. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is more spacious that the pictures portray. We look forward to staying again!

This property was in the best spot!!! Few minor things that could be improved but contacted the owner and he was very accommodating!! Would definitely stay again!!! And the price was very affordable!!!

Nice unit, family friendly, convenient location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was exactly as listed. Walmart is just across the street so that was very convenient. We did have my parents with us who are in their 70's and the stairs were a bit of a challenge for them, but that was noted in the property description so we were aware ahead of time. Although we did not use the pool, the pool area is very nice and there is a shower to rinse off when you come in from the beach. We appreciated the extra beach towels and boogie board available to use, as well as shampoo/body wash in the showers. One suggestion (and this is because I'm a coffee snob) is to include a Keurig with the kitchen appliances. There is a regular coffee pot, but I actually brought my own Keurig. I did see comments in the guest book about several guests leaving the coffee pot on for extended periods, and that would help with that issue. Nothing fancy, just might be a nice amenity. Overall, this is a great place to stay and I highly recommend!

Galveston beach condo

Nice well located beach condo. The 2 pools on the property where very clean and easy to get to. Had a view of the pool and ocean from the balcony of the condo. Condo was clean and the owner provided shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, and a few more handy personal care items. Kitchen is well stocked with a few extras left behind from previous guests. Beach towels provided by owner. There where also boogie boards and other beach toys in the unit which made a day at the beach even better. Great condo for a fun vacation in Galveston.

Great Location for great price!

Overall our stay at this condo was wonderful. My only complaint is that the check-in/check-out documents need to be updated. They contradict each other (check-in says you need to pay for a parking pass and it's $25 in the book, $35 in the instructions you get via email; check-out says if you do not return the "complimentary parking pass" you'll be fined $25). This worried us so we left all the items we received from the front desk on the counter. Also, the book shows that the pool closes at 10PM, but it actually closes at 11PM. Other then these complications, the condo, the area, and the staff were amazing. Very clean and well kept Condominium and very safe (gated all the way around). The condo was very clean and comfortable as well. And you're right next to a stoplight crosswalk (very important in Galveston) so the beach is literally seconds from you. Wonderful view from the balcony and the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee!

as a wonderful stay. Right across the street from the beach. It was very clean. The master bath shower was amazing.
