The Blue Lagoon is the last historic island home with 20 inch dropped down tin ceilings. This 1 story 4/2 sleeps 10 on upscale mattresses with luxurious linens. (Rental included a 1/1 guest apt total you can sleep 12) Keep all your guest on the main floor without additional stairs. Entertain your guest in a chefs kitchen with nautical den and dining area. The location is in the heart of everything yet you can sleep quietly at night. Walk to the beach or dinner or hit a play or concert at "The Opera House". You can even have a horse and carriage pick you up. Perfect for wedding or a girls night out.
Walk to the beach in 5 blocks, walk to restaurants, the guys can hop a fishing boat and the girls shop all day. Why add 30 more minutes and miles out on west end when you can be in the city...Enjoy our island then finish the day with the best back yard second only to moody gardens. Don't miss the big game from the hot tub that seats 12. The pool is heated for those cold winter days! Plan on having coffee on the front porch and enjoy the coastal breeze. Before you leave walk down and attend some of the most beautiful architectural designed church's in Texas!
Your rentals gets the main home sleeping 10 and our garage apt sleeps 2 more friends. We do have stairs to get in main house. We do have exterior cameras for safety and insurance purposes. No prom parties please. 100% refund on deposits when 30 days notice on cancellations.

We do not rent through Craigslist.

I knew the stay was going to be good just by the communications from the host 2 days prior. She even started warming up the hot tub 2 hours prior to arriving. The property itself was great! Everything worked great, all needs were thought of and addressed. 100% recommended to friends already and im sure we will stay again. Cant say enough good things.

Quite interesting house to say the least. Hot tub was nice. Toilet has stains all over the seat/inside lid that looks like urine. We finally decided that it must’ve been some hot coffee or something like that, but it looks gross. That was the worst thing in my opinion.

Apartment in basement not defined well. Apartment entrance needs better entry. Family space great and bedrooms nice and roomy. Too many bedrooms on main floor for one shared bathroom. We made it work.

Perfect from beginning to end. Loved every moment and such a close walk to beach. House was perfect for 12. And while we did not use the pool we did sit by it and enjoyed the sound of the waterfall, Ramona could not been a better host for us and was always quick to respond if we had questions.

This is a lovely house but getting inside was challenging. A hint for future renters is to bring your luggage in through the garage. You will need to ask the host for the key code in advance. It is NOT the same code to enter through the front door with the high steps. Hint #2 - if you are staying in the garage apartment, you can only enter it through the storeroom. The host was very accomodating with all of my questions and the property is perfectly located for activities.

The pool was the best. The bedrooms were big and comfortable and the living room had plenty of room for all of us. We had a problem with the front door, but it didn’t affect our stay. You are close to all of the places you’ll want to visit. It’s a great place to stay!!

Ramona was an OUTSTANDING host!! Prior to arrival she proactively provided us with everything we needed to know to access and utilize the amenities at her beautiful home. Everything in the home was clean, well appointed and easily accessible. Ramona also touched base periodically to ensure we were finding everything that we needed. The pool and spa are PERFECTION and instructions for use are readily available and labeled for convenience. The location is so close to everything!! The home is an historical Storm of 1900 survivor and it’s beautiful. She has ample poll towels and floats, an outdoor TV and plenty of seating for everyone. Beds were all comfortable with quality furnishings and super cool coastal art throughout. Thank you for a fabulous girls’ weekend and shh bc sting your home with us!!!

Blue Lagoon Paradise

This is our second stay at this property for our family vacation. We love this house for it's beauty and history, convenience and the outdoor oasis. Even the grandkids (6 & 10) ask me to book "our house". The host is very responsive. We highly recommend this property!

Great getaway

The house is beautiful and as that old world charm to its structure. The backyard area is what sold us on this spot and it was perfect. The atmosphere was nice and quiet place to relax with family. It is only a few blocks from the beach. So we spent the morning there and retreated back to the private pool in the afternoon. The pool/hot tub area is a nice place to relax.Ms. Ramona was quick to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this Galveston hideaway.

Stay in pool vacay

Great place for a getaway, yet staycation! Family in town for son’s graduation. Home is very big and not crowded even with all the adults. We loved spending all our time in the pool and hot tub while watching NBA playoffs from the hot tub. Grilled and enjoyed a family celebration all together. Owner was always available and very prompt with responses.
