Beautiful 2nd row beach house located in Kahala Beach accommodates 14 people comfortably. The 3,100 sq ft home offers 4 Bedrooms and 2.5 Baths, plus an outdoor shower. The spacious open floor plan, living area, dining room and kitchen allows plenty of space for all. The dining table includes seating for eight, with an additional seating for four at the bar. The walkover bridge to the beach is just a few steps away. Awesome view of the beach from inside the house and from the balconies. An elevator is available for your convenience for carrying groceries and luggage, and for guests that are not able to take the stairs. Lei By The Sea is a perfect place to spend quality time with family and friends. This home has it all!

The house was great. The design and amenities were very unique. The host let us know about some of the history of the house - it gave the house a personality that added to the experience. Being able to look out over the ocean from the deck was a treat.

The elevator was a bit misleading during booking. We were traveling with seniors and had planned on the use of elevator. It was cleared up when I received the check in procedure. We did not use the elevator. It would be helpful to add a traditional handrail on the winding stairs to make it safer for older adults who are still able to climb stairs but need the extra support.

Absolutely amazing home! Ideal set up for our four generation family. Among the very best homes we have rented on vrbo. Marisol was incredibly helpful and responsive through the entire process. Will definitely rent this home again and again.

Family fun

Had family come in for the Memorial Day weekend and the house had room for everyone.Just a short walk across the street to beach ramp. Kids had a blast! Since it’s a private neighborhood the beach wasn’t crowded, we fished,Flew kites,etc.

Lei by the Sea is a spacious beach house with charming decor and fast access to the beach! Management was easy to work with. It was an ideal place to get away and relax with friends. We would definitely stay again!

Great Stay at the Lei

We just spent our first family Christmas away from Louisiana family. We looked for something that could accomodate a large group and was comfortable. When I say this property satisfied all of our needs and more...IT DID 100 percent! The property was as listed. We really didnt have to bring anything but food. The property had a lot of utensils, pots, pans, bowls, etc... There are multiple refrigerators and a deep freezer to keep food. The beds were super comfortable. There was ample amount of bathrooms throughout.The openess of the floor plan allowed us to have multiple family activities going on but still enjoy each others company with laughter. The kids enjoyed the outside area playing soccer and football. It was a very quick walk to the beach. Kids are looking forward to the next stay. If you are looking for a property that meets all of your needs this is it. Look no further. Hope this review answers all of yoyr questions.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time, loved the house and how close it was to the beach, perfect for family vacation. Elevator was a little small for the wheelchair to fit but we made it work! Reason for the 4 stars-AC was working but took a long time to cool off, was in the 80's when we got to the house. The first night was a little too hot in some rooms but made it work.

Great house. Super close to beach

We were coming right off the heels of hurricane Beryl so there were a few things out of whack (no one’s fault but Mother Nature’s). For example, the street was flooded and there were some other issues with the air conditioning, water coming through windows, etc. But they got an AC guy out quickly to fix the air conditioning. The house itself is great, very spacious, lots of room for hanging out, playing games, and sleeping. It has pretty much everything you need, dishes, refrigerator space, beach chairs/toys, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off. It’s also a super short and easy walk(1-2min) to the bridge to get to the beach (only downside was walking through Beryl’s leftover flood waters). After we had some days of sun, it dried right up though. We’d definitely rent this house again. Highly recommended.

Perfect!

Our stay at Marisol’s was perfect! Place was more spacious than the pictures look. My family and friends had a blast and enjoyed our visit to the beach. Didn’t think we’d need the elevator but it turned out to be a life saver when it came to taking stuff up and down between the floors. Thanks for opening up your home to us. Will definitely be coming back!

Galveston treasure

Our VRBO rental was a beautiful home that sleeps 14. Well cared for and only a few steps from the beach. A deck and balcony had great views of the ocean. I took my grand children and great grand children. There were 4 adults and 6 children and there was plenty of room. This house also had an elevator which was prefect for me due to some health issues. I will definitely rent this house in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely experience

This is a beautiful property. Communicating with the host was very easy. The only issues were with the full bath downstairs where the water from tub drained very slowly and 4 out of 5 trash cans were full when we got there. Still, we set all trash cans out for pick up on Monday when we left. Will definitely recommend to friends.

Time to be still and know that HE is God

Each year 10 of us friends/sisters in Christ put on a retreat for ourselves. All of us are involved in ministry at our different Catholic churches in Houston and Marfa. This is an annual retreat that all of us look forward to...And Jesus makes it happen. Our destination has always been Galveston because of the beach, seagulls and sunrises. Several of us require an elevator which this house offers. The house is in need of some repairs. We rented this same house last year and the hole in the living room wall is still there...We've always had problems with reception on TV... There is only one full bathroom upstairs which can be a problem with 10-12 people staying there.

Quick family/friends getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Beach house was exactly what we expected. Walk to the beach was only a few steps. Could see the beach from the house. Owner was very quick to answer any questions we had and kept in communication with us as needed. We will definitely be staying here again.
