Welcome to Bay Vista, a beautiful bayfront retreat located in the peaceful Terramar Beach community of Galveston, Texas. This inviting 2,650 sq ft home is perfectly positioned where the canal meets Galveston Bay, offering stunning waterfront views, easy access to boating and fishing, and the ideal setting for family-friendly outdoor living. With 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, and accommodations for up to 14 guests, Bay Vista is a true gem for water lovers and sunset seekers alike.

With its unique bayfront location, Bay Vista delivers panoramic views, private water access, and spectacular sunsets. A large, partially covered deck off the main living area stretches over the boat slip, making it a perfect place to unwind with a cool drink in hand while you take in the tranquil sights and sounds of the bay. The boat slip is available for guest use (please note: lift is not accessible), and guests also enjoy access to the private Terramar Beach boat launch and community pool, just moments away.

Step inside and discover a relaxed, coastal-inspired space designed for comfort and connection. The main level features an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area with water views, a wine bar, and a breakfast bar for extra seating. The main floor also includes a guest bedroom with a king bed, a shared hallway bath, and a spacious primary suite with a king bed, TV, private bathroom, and direct access to the bay-view deck.

Upstairs, two additional bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements. One room offers a king and a Full bed, while the other features two sets of pyramid bunks, making it perfect for kids or teens. A shared hallway bathroom ensures convenience for everyone.

Downstairs, the shaded area under the home becomes an extension of your living space. We love this house and will continue to book it! Just a few hiccups - The internet wasn’t working but someone brought a hot spot to us. Three vendors showed up during the week and we weren’t made aware of them coming. We discovered mid-week that the dryer didn’t work (and had a load of clean wet clothes. We reported it but no one responded. Then the dryer repair just showed up one day. He wasn’t able to fix it. We never heard from the property mgr about this - so we couldn’t wash clothes. We would’ve appreciated more communication - especially for the price we paid.

Best rental ever!

We loved our vacay at Bay Vista and all wished we could’ve stayed longer! The house was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed and everything worked! No issues like you usually have at rental homes. We all said we never want to stay at any other beach house but this one. For a family of five with three adult boys, we never felt crowded - I loved that we could all sit at the dining table for dinner. The view was spectacular - and the outdoor seating options were so nice. We will be back for sure! If I had three wishes - I wish there were kayaks to use, wish we could’ve used the lift and wish the bunk beds had been made for us.

Best Beach house stay!

We like to get away for spring break every year before we become empty nesters. Hence, we have rented several homes in the Galveston area, including in Boliver. THIS home is, by far, THE BEST and well worth it! While we can't control mother nature and it is often cold in March, this weekend was cool/warm. When the weather is not so great 90% of the time, it is important to have a home that still makes you feel like you are on vacation. THIS home was perfect! It is very well maintained, beautifully decorated, and had plenty of space to enjoy. The kitchen had almost everything a person may need; it was very well thought out. The house was stocked with a ton of games for all ages. The WIFI was great and there were plenty of USB outlets. This home smelled fresh and clean while also being a pet friendly property. The bonus was the downstairs outdoor bar with an extra fridge and plenty of seating. I only wish the weather was nice enough to enjoy it more during our stay. The Gary Greene team was very prompt in responding to any of our questions; check in/out process was very easy, thank you! We look forward to returning and enjoying another week!

Wonderful Stay

This house is exactly as described. Spacious with lots of amenities. My whole family came and beautiful memories were made here. The downstairs area is very well laid out with lots of seating, downstairs fridge and bathroom a plus. The fishing area allowed for several people to fish at the same time. We never found a need to leave the house during our stay as we had everything we needed at the house. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Everyone had such a great time and we will definitely be back.

Family Vacation Drama Free :-)

Photos are very accurate. This is a very spacious property. We caught enough fish there for a family of 12 fish fry! Flounders were great! The place was clean and the property management was thorough and kept in touch. The pool was extremely cloudy and unfiltered, however it was closed the next day so I assume they were having some filter issues.

Best trip in last 20 years

Property is very clean and the kitchen has everything you can possibly need. We loved the space downstairs and the views were amazing! The fishing was fantastic. We caught sand and speckled trout every night so the kids were very happy. (We brought our own coolers for bait and fish so just be prepared to bring those.)The house itself had very comfortable beds and lots of space inside. We had a wonderful time!

House was unbelievably beautiful, both inside and out. Enough space for all of us to comfortably live for the 4 days. The fishing, the fishing, the fishing was incredible. Very Family Friendly

This property was great for our family. We had 13 people stay at this house and it was very accommodating. The property had everything we needed. It rained part of the time we were there and there is a covered area with a bar that was great. The water views were amazing as well as the sunsets. Definitely would rent again.

Magnificent!!

Beautiful home on a fantastic piece of property! Plenty of space and pictures didn’t do it justice. Rental/check-in/check-out was a breeze. Kitchen was very well stocked with QUALITY pots, pans, coffee maker etc etc. A/C will get plenty cold quickly. Downstairs bar area was excellent with separate frig and freezer and perfect view of the bay and little beach area across the canal. We will be coming back….I only hope it stays on the rental market!

This property was amazing, the house is beautiful and had everything we could have asked for to make our trip to Galveston perfect. Gary Greene vacation rentals was great to work with! Great fishing place

Had a great stay at Bay Vista. This is our second time to book this place as we liked the location and my family likes to fish. The dishwasher soap dispenser does not open though, so the soap was still solid after the cycle was done. Had to repeat the wash and placed the soap on the upper door rack, which worked. For this I gave it a 4 star. Otherwise, I'd still recommend this place. There was 14 of us. 4 families of my siblings. We had great bonding moments during our Thanksgiving week. My son caught a Gar fish and that was probably the highlight of the day as far as the kids go. We did release the Gar. Just hope that they would install more lights for night fishing.

Breathtaking view

Although we had a cold stay with white skies and rain, it was such a beautiful spot. The house is huge and very well laid out. The enclosed balcony, views and the large kitchen were highlights. My hubby caught a large trout the first night off the dock which fed us for a few nights! We also rented a kayak through Ricks beach rental and paid the extra for drop off and pick up. One of our favorite stays we’ve had in Galveston.

Family Celebration

Loved the sunrise & sunsets. The fishing off the property was awesome. Plenty of room for people to maneuver around. We had a three year old & 6 month triplets along with 5 adults in our group. Will definitely book again. The only downside was no dumb waiter to help bring things up to the house level.

Wonderful House on West Galveston Bay

This house was really great for our family to enjoy a week on the west end of Galveston Island. The house is beautiful and well equipped and the location is excellent for enjoying all the activities of fishing, boating, kayaking, and crabbing. The beach is a 5 minute drive away. The management company was excellent. Communication with them was clear and prompt, the house was very clean when we arrived, and everything was in good working order. This is a house that we will rent again.

Beautiful home on the bay

We spent a long weekend at Bay Vista and could not have been happier. The views over the bay are beautiful and there was a great breeze. The furnishings are new and really comfortable and stylish. The house was clean, well stocked and organized, with helpful labels in the kitchen. We fished off the dock and enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding (rented the equipment). Also did wade fishing across the channel. The channel across from the home was a gathering point for many boats over the weekend, people anchored there and were partying in the afternoon; it was pretty noisy but we did not mind. Wonderful property - would definitely stay here again.
