Relax on the balcony and enjoy the direct view Gulf of Mexico! Located at The Dawn Seawall Galveston on the 1st floor, beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Sunsets with the most vivid colors are especially memorable. The location is very convenient.

This property is located on the west end of the Seawall
and just across the street from Babe’s Beach, within walking distance is the corner store, Walmart, Pit Stop BBQ, Papa Johns, Sonic, and numerous great restaurants as well as many other resort attractions such as Moody Gardens, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Galveston Island Pleasure Pier, and a fishing pier.

There are 2 queen size beds and 1 bunk bed in the condo.
Linens/towels are provided for up to six people.
The master suite beach with a view has its private bathroom with a huge walk-in shower.

The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, silverware, pots/pans, a toaster, a coffee maker, a blender, microwave. washer/dryer.

The amenities offered by the complex. Two Pools, Hot Tubs, Fitness Center, Charcoal, and picnic areas.

*NOTE TO GUESTS*

For your security, the Dawn HOA (not condo owners) has implemented a parking policy.

All reservations at The Dawn Condominiums require a $35.00+2.89 tax one-time parking fee per vehicle (two vehicles max). The Dawn requires this fee to be paid to The Dawn HOA at their front office upon arrival. This fee includes unlimited access to all amenities: two pools, a hot tub, fitness center, BBQ areas, and a security guard to monitor the property

This $35.00+2.89 tax fee includes COMPLIMENTARY amenities bands for swimming pool/gym use. Anyone using either of two swimming pools or fitness centers is required to wear an amenity band. However, if you don’t purchase a parking pass, complimentary amenity bands are NOT given. You will be required to purchase the amenity bands for $35.00+2.89 tax.

*New parking fee effective 03/01/2023:
1-3 days parking rate is $36.70 plus tax ($3.30) making it a flat $40.00
3 or more days parking rate is $45.88 plus tax ($4.12)making it a flat $50.00

The Dawn Office Hours:

Monday & Tuesday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Wednesday – Sunday 9:00 am -11:30 pm

Guests checking in on Wednesday-Sunday can come to the HOA office until 11:00 p for registration.

Guests checking in after 5:00 PM on Monday or Tuesday need to report to the office by 11:00 a the following morning

Failure to register may cause your vehicle to be towed and access to pools or gym will be denied.

Trailers, boats, other watercraft, or RV are NOT ALLOWED to be parked anywhere on-premises except during LONE STAR RALLY when trailers are allowed. LONE STAR RALLY -Please note This is a yearly event and happens in November. Please be expect noises.

*The Dawn does not have elevators.

*No pets allowed for all short term rentals.

*No party allowed.

*Please note that we have quiet hours in place ‪from 10 pm to 6 am‬, so after ‪10 pm‬ there should be no loud noises on the property.

*Trash, we have 3 receptacles on property near build 3, 5, and 11 all trash should be discarded immediately and not left outside of units.

*No items should be left outside of doors in walkways or under stairs, things will be removed and discarded.

*Please use the pool showers before entering the unit. Do not bring sand into the unit!

Very nice property with a great location both locally and within the condominium complex! We've stayed in several different units at The Dawn. This one is spacious and close to the beach, pools, and parking. The first floor location is great since there are no elevators. We found the property clean but the complex is older and there are few updates. Minimal supplies but adequate. We will book again!

Galveston

The place was beautiful until the hurricane hit. We were there when Beryl hit. This unit is right across the street from the beach. Seeing the waves crash against the seawall was a little frightening but they never came over. This unit is coinvent to everything along Seawall Blvd. Hopefully the area will be cleaned up and fixed quickly.

Good Times

My family of 5 stayed in the condo for a spring break trip with our family who was staying in another condo in the complex. This is a great spot! Really good location and the complex has 2 pools to enjoy. The traffic is really quiet during the week, it does pick up on the weekends but after 10:30pm you couldnt even tell you were facing the road. Nice view of the Ocean and 2 sliding doors with patios to enjoy your tea or coffee in the morning, and a night cap at night. Our host was amazing, responded quickly and included just about everything you need for our stay. We will absolutely ask to rent this condo again next year!!

Not as advertised

The code to open the door only worked half the time. Had to call the manager each time. Master bedroom shares a wall with the management office so you hear phones ringing all the time. Master bathroom has a sign that the jacuzzi tub is out of order. Would of been nice to know ahead of time or provide a small discount. The furniture is advertised as reclining but also broken with signs they don’t work. Only 2 burners on the stove worked. Oven light didn’t work. Bedding is extremely worn out and pillows are very hard. All need to be replaced. Bathroom mats also very worn and need replacing. Furniture on the front porch is useless as you cannot sit in the chairs and see the ocean due to the height of the railings. Both outdoor decks were very dirty and had garbage left there. Overall very disappointing rental unit. I would not recommend it. The complex and location is nice but not this unit.

Great location and value.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It is located conveniently near the beach with easy access to stores and restaurants nearby. The condo itself and the on-premise facilities are nice--we took advantage of the pools, both of which were in great shape and close to the condo. Office staff were friendly and super helpful. Communication with owner was smooth and check-in/out was easy.

Great Location

Nice condo complex with 2 pools. It was clean and comfortable. Ground floor is a bit misleading since 2 small sets of concrete steps to get to it. Stove and dishwasher are older but worked. Kitchen lacking mixing bowls, baking pan and dish cloths. Could use more bath towels. Very roomy bathrooms which was a big plus. All of the condos and buildings we were in were musty smelling but that is expected on the beachfront. Overall convenience, comfort and cleanliness was good. Seawall Blvd traffic is busy and noisy.

Very nice place

Great location. Walked out the front gate, Cross the street and we were on the beach. Enjoyed the pools. The condo was very neat and clean. The entire place had been well taken care of. Both pools were great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful

This is a beautiful space! Maryann was so very nice and communicating with her was easy. The location was super close to the beach. My children and I enjoyed ourselves very much. Would definitely recommend and on my next trip to Galveston I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Galveston!

I really enjoyed the condo!! The property manager was an excellent communicator. One of the AC’s was out upon our arrival but the property manager arranged for guys to come out and fix it that night! I loved the size of the condo, it was great for our family!! And the location couldn’t be better, being super close to the gate to walk to the ocean was awesome! My only critiques would be that the kitchen didn’t have cooking/baking sheets, the balcony chairs were a little low (when I sat down in them the gate blocked the ocean view), and the condo had a musty smell. But overall a wonderful stay, we’d absolutely come back!!

Very nice place, great view! Owner was awesome! Place was very nice! Suggest housekeeping leave extra towels, rags & hand towels for guests, also additional toilet paper. Everything else was 100% perfect

Lovely Condo in Galveston

We truly enjoyed our time in the adorable condo. It had all of the right touches and felt just like home. Plenty of room for a family of four. The instructions were clear and the owner was kind and as responsive. The area was as expected with the Seawall and beach across the street. Pool onsite and nearby restaurants. We would definitely come back. My only recommendation would be different chairs on the patio so that you can see above the railings. 😄 Love this place! And highly recommend spending time further in town!

Excellent spot for our needs!

We had a great stay at the Dawn. We have stayed here before but never in this condo. This has been my favorite condo my far! It is comfortable - furniture, beds and all the amenities. Only issue was the drunk woman getting arrested outside of the condo facing the street at 4 am! Being by the Seawall — it’s louder with the traffic. A few things we wish we had for the kitchen but we will come back next time we need a spot!

Everything was as stated and the location was great. Easy to spend time at the beach (or the pool if you prefer). Tons of restaurants and walmart within walking distance. The unit was very clean. Bring some beach towels as there are only white shower towels in the unit.

Loved it!

What a great condo. All 4 of us thought the condo was perfect in all aspects; location, amenities, bedding, gated community, etc. Short drive to anything and everything. And man do we love the Keurig. Thank you Maryann for a wonderful experience. If we return next year we will definitely rent one of your properties.

I would highly recommend a stay at this 217 Reno. It was excellent everything and it was just as beautiful as the grocery list Cheryl and everything was at the military personnel. You’re invited to report there that you needed to do anything I would recommend it to anybody who is staying in Galveston?
