▶ Shared Spaces & Property Layout
This property has two separate vacation rentals on the same corner lot: the Main home Bungalow and a separate Guest Cottage over the garage. You'll have the entire Cottage and one driveway parking spot to yourself. The separate main home may be booked by others and has its own private entrances.

The back porch/deck, BBQ, Adirondack chairs, and two bicycles are shared with any Main home guests that may be staying. Each home has its own beach wagon and two beach chairs. As these are historic homes, some sound may occasionally carry between spaces. Quiet hours are 10 PM–8 AM.

Your pet must be listed in your Vrbo reservation at the time of booking to ensure the correct pet fee is applied.

• Minimum Age to Book:
We require the booking guest to be at least 21 years old and actually be staying at the property each night of the reservation.

Open-concept layout with plenty of space to relax. The sleeping and living area features a Queen bed and pullout sofa and is located at the end of a hallway with an arched, open entry (no door). There is a mini split AC in the bedroom area. The full kitchen is at the opposite end of the hallway, and the bathroom is a separate, fully enclosed room located midway down the hall for added privacy.

▶Guest Access:
The Guest House is a fully separate unit located behind the main house, with its own private entrance. It sits above the property’s original historic carriage house, now the garage; the garage is not accessible to guests. The back porch deck, with the BBQ and Adirondack chairs, is a shared outdoor space that may also be used by guests staying in the separate main home on the property (Shamrock Bungalow).

▶ Children & Pets Safety:
Home not child-proofed. We do not have child locks on cabinets and drawers, or electrical outlet covers. The property is not fenced.

• Historic Home:
This is a lovingly restored property—expect a blend of old-world character and modern updates.

• Parking:
One driveway covered parking spot in front of garage. Please note the City does not permit RVs, boats, trailers, or oversized vehicles to park in the driveway or on the street.

• Beach Access:
The home is a short drive (or a 4 block walk) to the Seawall and Galveston’s beaches.

• Heating/Cooling:
Galveston is coastal and humid - we have a mini split for AC and ceiling fans are provided for your comfort.

• Coastal Environment
As with any coastal location, it is not uncommon for insects to occasionally find their way indoors; especially after heavy rain or weather changes. We perform regular inspections and pest control but you may occasionally spot an insect during your stay.

• Pets:
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs! We allow 1 adult dog (we do have a pet fee) Please follow the rules below so we can continue offering pet-friendly stays:
• Dogs only; max 1 (1+ year old, no puppies)
• Must be fully housebroken; please clean up after your dog
• No pets on beds or furniture
 → If excessive pet hair is found on beds or furniture, an additional $150 cleaning fee will apply
• Must be crated if left alone (please bring a crate)
• No unattended pets outdoors; must be on leash
• Do not bathe pets in showers or sinks
• Do not use bath or beach towels for pets
• Guests are responsible for any pet-related damage or extra cleaning beyond the pet fee

• Safety Features:
Equipped with smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher and first aid kit.

• No EV Charging:
EV charging via use of extension cords (including vehicles, e-bikes, scooters, hoverboards) is not permitted at the property due to safety and insurance requirements. Public EV charging stations are available nearby.

• Late Checkout:
Late checkout is not permitted without prior approval. Unauthorized late checkout is subject to a $75 charge per 30-minute period, or portion thereof. Payment of fee does not extend your scheduled checkout time.

• Food and beverages staged in some photos for inspiration only – not provided during your stay. We do provide a starter supply of coffee and tea.

• Security Devices:
For your security the property is equipped with exterior security cameras (no cameras inside). Tampering with, disabling, or obscuring cameras is prohibited and against Vrbo Policies.

▶ Noise Monitoring Devices:
We have outdoor noise monitoring devices to help us comply with Galveston’s strict Quiet Time Ordinance (10 PM–8 AM). These devices do not record conversations — they only measure noise levels. Please respect our quiet hours and be respectful of our neighbors.
