"I'm giving this property and our stay 4 stars (****). Here's why... The inn itself is adorable, clean and quiet. Close to "downtown" and the Arcade, but just far enough away. A bit pricey from a value perspective, but a nice stay overall. What I wasn't a fan of was the daily charge of $40 for our small dog. Seems a bit much. The other was the the prominent display of over-priced merch in the great room off the lobby, and the gouge-priced stuff in the room itself. Seemed more at home in a...

"The property was pretty. However it was not as expected. My husband also got food poisoning on the first day we arrived. Had in room dining and dinner at the Ollevilla, after that he ended up back in the room in the bathroom all night. It was our anniversary and it was a horrible experience."

"I decided on the Ojai Retreat and Inn instead of a traditional hotel setting. We were so glad we made this choice, as the property is beautiful and serene with the mountains as a backdrop. We absolutely loved the waterfall meditation garden. The whole property is so great! They offered a continental breakfast, free self-parking, and had a spacious, quiet room for reading. All in all, hands down a five-star experience. I will definitely be back!"

"We arrived in the early evening for a tennis tournament and no one was at the front desk. When someone finally came, they said we owed 70 more dollars directly to the hotel beyond the already paid amount on Expedia for added tax as we were staying two nights ( this despite Expedia saying we were paid in full). "Fellow Travelers - I would highly recommend staying at a different hotel. I booked 3 nights at this hotel, through Expedia, since it had the best price in the Ojai area. The greeting I received at the front desk was not very professional and lacked good customer service. After ringing the bell for service, I waited for 10 minutes for someone to show up. Then I was asked to sign a document, on a tablet, that I wasn't able to read before signing, which later I regretted since it indicated that...

"Waypoint Ventura is a treat, to say the least. All the vintage trailers are beautifully appointed and restored. Plus, the whole vibe in the place is just fantastic. Easy walkability to great restaurants and breweries. Looking forward to my next stay and trying a different travel trailer next time."

"Our room was clean and spacious. Had a variety of seating for lounging. Bed was comfortable. Parking was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious. Just wish the room didn’t smell so humid."

"Exterior of property needs some love but the room was well maintained. 1 of the towels was dirty and the blanket had cigarette burns. But for the price and one night it was a good stay."
