Stunning views, amazing gathering spaces, hot tub

Bring your family or friends to enjoy this lovely retreat in the Galena Territory. Step out to the deck to enjoy the stunning view of the Driftless Region any season whether dining, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows, or star gazing.

Lower level (entry level) houses 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom, along with laundry facilities. The larger bedroom has both a queen bed and a sleeper sofa.

The upper level features open concept living, dining and kitchen spaces plus a third bedroom and full bathroom. Relax around the fireplace and just hang out together.

The kids will love the loft for playing games and hanging out. The loft also houses a futon for an additional sleeping option. What kid wouldn't want to sleep in the "tree house?"

Please note: we're situated on a hill side, set into a bluff. That means stunning views but it also means LOTS of steps!

We are pet friendly with a $50 pet fee for additional cleaning often needed when furry friends come along. Please be sure to add pets to your reservation and the fee will be added.

Relax with our easy check in and check out process - no long list of things to do before leaving.

Of course, as guests of the Galena Territory, you have access to all of the amenities including indoor and outdoor pools, world-class golf courses, Lake Galena for boating and fishing, and horseback riding. Historic downtown Galena is just 10 minutes away.

The property was so well equipped for our stay. Owner was very helpful in reaching out to answer questions and offer suggestions for our stay. We were close to downtown Galena to go out to dinner, ski at Chestnut Mountain, enjoyed the owners club pool and the hot tub was a nice bonus at the house. Lots of supplies like towels, cooking and bedding provided. We could not have enjoyed our stay more and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely love the Galena area and the property. Sarah made staying so easy and welcoming. Everything is posted and labeled, including useful information like locations of nearby stores, etc. Beautiful space and easy to access.

Incredible Stay

10/10 loved the stay and property. We had an incredible time and would love to come back. Minor complaint is that the morning of our checkout while still enjoying our quiet morning at the property, a man came to mow the grass. Fully understand everyone has a job to do but we were given a reasonable expectation of privacy and it felt a little intrusive especially without a heads up. Also seems easier to complain about this when VRBO’s main commercial that runs is complaining about Nick Saban mowing and doing housework etc while the family is trying to relax and have an expectation of privacy.

Fall Galena Getaway

We loved the very peaceful setting in this area, so pretty. The deck was great for just sitting and enjoying the wonderful views . Also, we liked that we could let our dog out on deck with us to roam free with us blocking the steps with chairs. Beds were very comfortable and it was nice to have the downstairs for other family to have privacy. Sarah was very good at making sure everything was okay with our stay. We would love to come back again.

Should have stayed longer!

A wonderful stay and awesome neighborhood. The views are so beautiful. So many touches were appreciated from simple hand and dish soap to labeled drawers and cupboards. We wished we would have stayed longer. Galena is a beautiful, fun town!!

Property is really amazing. They have thought of everything one would need to stay and be comfortable- condiments, coffee, s’more fixings, just all the little things. Home is nicely labeled so you can find things. Love the deck with amazing views! Love the location for enjoying the owners club. Perfect place to unwind!

Galena rental with spectacular views

The house was clean and well furnished. Wonderful views of the hilly, wooded countryside with plenty of wildflowers and serenading songbirds. The only real issue was that due to the house being located on a hillside, all the stairs were steep which was a bit challenging for folks in their 70’s.

Excellent Galena Experience

We had a Mom’s night away with 5 of us in Galena. The house was beautiful. We kept stating how they thought of everything and had such cute touches on the home. We enjoyed the hot tub and there were plenty of places for all of us to sleep. The view was absolutely beautiful. We would love to see it in the fall. Amazing home!

Sarah’s place was beautiful! My family loved the home and we had such a great time. Thank you for responding to all my questions in a timely manner. The labeling throughout the home was very helpful and I highly recommend this home to anyone visiting galena. It was conveniently located and having access to an indoor pool was perfect.

Beautiful setting

House was described well. Unfortunately the outdoor spaces was left messy by previous families and their Graham crackers from smore were smeared all over the deck and they left the matches outside. We had to get our own lighter. The coffee maker was very clogged and took and hour to brew coffee, we had to drive to Walmart to get more vinegar to clean it. Our last day the aquatic instructor and a few of the class attendees were completely rude. The signage of the owners club for the pool doesn't indicate that you need to sign up for a lane to swim laps nor that the pool is closed during aquatic class. Recommend leaving a list of rules for future guests to read through to avoid this type of situation again.

Great Weekend Family Getaway

The property offered all the comforts of home and a great view. Nice open main floor plan and well equipped kitchen. Instructions and labels were so helpful and thoughtful. The close by owners club was a big hit for basketball and game room.
