Perfect Family Get Away

We stayed here for a family get away and it was perfect! Loved that each family had their own room, space and bathroom! Property is set in beautiful scenery. We had a great time!

My buddies and I meet up in the Territories every year for some golf and hanging out time, and this house was perfect for the gathering. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals and the common area spaces, inside and out, were exactly what we were looking for. This house will be on the list for future trips.

Beautiful area with plenty of room.

The property overall is good, could use a little touch ups here and there, Plenty of room for large groups, Issues withe trying to figure out television, Overall awesome venue and even better with the surrounding area. This would also be a great golfing destination.

Great House for Family Get-Together

Very spacious house. The property has a lot of different areas within the house to get together. It was very close to the Owner's Club and Marina. The Galena has a lot of activities to do too. Was a perfect place to spend time with family.

This was a great set up for our group of 12 and conveniently located with plenty of parking. Only negative was some of the beds were not as comfortable

Really enjoyed our stay! House was exactly like the photos and listing! Plenty of space for a large group. Very clean. Beautiful, wooded back yard! Great location to lots of activities. Property manager extremely responsive.

Family Summer Vacay

Great accommodations for grandparents, kids and spouses and kiddos ages 3 & 12 and 2 year old doodle😊 Quick access to the Owner's Club with beautiful outdoor pools and a snack shop. Enjoyed all 8 of us around the table for dinner each evening. Bonus refrigerator on the lower level was handy, too. Quiet and relaxing setting.

The property was just as described! Worked perfectly for our group! We were coming in for a ski weekend and there ending up being a snow storm the day we were set to arrive, we called the management coming about coming in a day early to beat the storm and they very graciously extended our stay. Thanks for the memories!

(Mostly) Comfortable and Convenient

Great house for our group of 11. If you like a very firm mattress, the primary suite on the first floor is for you. (I opted to sleep on the couch after the first night.) Some TLC for the sliding deck door is in order - screen door came off its track at the first touch. Otherwise, great gathering spaces for all ages and so nice to walk to the Owner’s Club.

Great house for family vacation

We had a lovely stay at this house. The layout was great for our large family. Everyone had space and it was perfect for kids, with a front and backyard. The screened in porch was perfect for family dinners and playing cards at night. The proximity to the owners club is awrsome- we enjoyed the walk. The house was well equipped! Having two refrigerators was a plus. Host was very responsive. Only a couple negatives: the WiFi was unreliable the entire stay. The host was helpful in offering a suggestion to remedy, but it was pretty non functional. Both refrigerators were dirty upon arrival. Some of the beds were uncomfortable. We would stay again!

Chair in living room broken, air hockey game broken, no air and grill burners need replacing. Tv in living room could be placed in a better area, so that everyone on the couch can view the tv.

Girls weekend

Great big house. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Great view. Downstairs a bit chilly, but expected in February but thankfully it was a warm 50 degrees weekend. Close to downtown galena. If you have a allergic reaction to cats there was evidence of there being a cat that has lived there at times. We were okay, but one of our ladies was a bit stuffy not sure if that was the cause. Just a heads up. A lot of outdoor areas to sit outside. One screened in porch. Would go back in a heart beat.

Family Wedding + Long Weekend = Great Time

Four families came together at this home for three nights due to a wedding in the Galena Territory. We appreciated the number of bedrooms that had bathrooms attached allowing for personal spaces among large communal spaces, including the kitchen and living room area. The screened in porch with a fan helped with the high heat and humidity during our visit. The directions for the home along with the amenities were concise and complete. Our teens didn’t enjoy the live bugs in their room, yet the house binder assured of treating for insects. I didn’t notice any bugs our room downstairs nor in the communal spaces. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the beauty of the outdoors.
