"My partner, and and our 17 yo daughter enjoyed a week at this cabin. The kitchen was well-appointed, the living room and front porch was very comfortable. The view and access to the New River was fabulous. Even two neighborhood dogs came by for multiple visits."

"We very much enjoyed this cabin and for July 4th weekend. It’s seclusion was somewhat suprising, literally at the end of long off the main road ride, yet still an easy drive through pines, past deer, and ending above the river. Nice river view and access. Close enough to Highway 221 for access to Fries, Galax, New River State Park, and Blue Ridge Music Center, all of which we enjoyed. "

"I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

"Quiet and peaceful. Beautiful scenery. A wonderful experience. "

"This is the best stay we have had in a very long time! Betty was so generous and accommodating. Even if you forgot one small detail Betty has it. A great example, my daughter had a hole in one of her stuffed animals and was so upset because I said I don’t have anything to sew it with. Well, sure enough Betty had it in the house! Crisis solved and my daughter was happy. We will definitely come back and recommend this house for a stay!"

"I’ve been delayed in reviewing our stay at the Tree House because in my mind, we’re still there! Talk about relaxing, a true getaway, even though we were active from sun up to sun down. Everything about our stay was perfect. Ken was the ultimate communicator, so friendly, accommodating, and available for any questions. He and his wife, plus their children, greeted us upon arrival and during our stay and even shared her homemade bread! The area is beautiful, 84 acres that felt like it was all...

"We had a very relaxing stay at this property which was perfect for us - an elderly couple. We had everything we needed and fantastic views. We stayed 4 days and cooked every night. The kitchen was very well stocked. The water pressure could have been better, but we managed. It was so quiet & peaceful that we hated to leave!"

"This is a great property if you are looking for a private, quiet and relaxing stay in the woods! They had everything we needed and then some. The hosts are very responsive. I especially liked that it was pet friendly. Easy to get to west Jefferson, Lansing, Grayson Highlands State Park & more. Would stay again! "
