Home Away From Home

  • We purchased this house for us and our family to enjoy Pine Creek and it's beauty. We want you to enjoy it also as a Vacation Rental. Our house is very comfortable for up to 6 guests and comes fully furnished. You can prepare your favorite meals in our fully equipped kitchen that includes a refrigerator, range, microwave, coffee pot, utensils, dishes, pots and pans to cook on and more. We also provide a laundry room equipped with a washer & dryer so you do not have to worry about running out of clothes. Three good sized rooms with black out curtains for a great night sleep. Off the main Bedroom & Den is door leading to a covered porch with a table & 4 chairs and gas grill. Also in the backyard we have a picnic table that can seat 6 people. Also for your after dark enjoyment a fire pit to sit by and gaze up at the beautiful night skies above. WI-Fi and streaming live tv is available for you to use. Also there is access to Pine Creek within walking distance of the cottage a state road that leads down to the Creek with a spot to put in your Canoe or Kayak and float down Pine Creek.

The location (close to Galeton) was ideal.The backyard fire pit and grilling station was perfect for our family gathering (surprise weekend for my sister's 60th birthday. The cottage was very clean and our family enjoyed their stay.

I always try to give reviews that hit main points for me. So, with that in mind…1. Host was extremely easy to contact and responded quickly.2. Beds were super comfy. Some of the best we’ve ever had.3. Shower had hot water and good pressure. 4. Backyard was fabulous. Host provides the wood for the fire which is rare. 5. Fishing near the cabin was great.6. Pet friendly w a nice dog run in the backyard.The only drawback was the road noise at night but we took a noise machine and it worked well.Overall a great find.

I have been on many trips though VRBO and this one by far was the best place. I felt at home, the kitchen had all the things we needed and lots of room to just relax.

Nice cottage

We spent 4 nights at creek bend cottage. It was clean and roomy with all the essentials plus extras like dog bowls, dog run liine. It was an easy drive to access points to the Pine Creek Rail Trail, Wellsboro and state parks.

Perfect for what we needed

Great little house with an amazing back yard. The owners were great and the house had everything that we needed. Great location in the middle of just about everything. We would stay here again...hopefully with clear skies this time.

Lovely Cottage and Then Some

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was charming and the owners took care of every need with those little extras you do not expect to see when renting a house. Great location in the middle of all the popular attractions. The yard was large enough for our dog to roam and the fire pit was a favorite weekend space.

Sewing Get-away

We had a good experience staying at the property, felt safe and secure. The hosts were very easy to contact. The kitchen was very user friendly, and the bedrooms were all very comfortable, as were the sitting and dining areas. Would consider staying again.
