"Good basic hotel. About sixty feet below route 4 and need to walk up side of access road if don't drive to get to nearby restaurants and stores. One elevator had some problems, for opening and closing repeatedly during one week stay. Not fixed quickly."

"Front desk would not accomodate a double bed split instead of a king bed. Was told it was Expedia rule and could not accomodate."

"The bed was a bit firm, but comfy, clean linens/towels- which was good. Shower was clean. But rooms need updating and deep cleaning- the lamp was covered in dust, and the windowsill in the bathroom was super dirty. Soap rack is completely rusty. It was okay for a night to stay- bed was clean - which is important, but they definitely need to clean way better!"

"The room was clean and comfortable. Great walk in shower and very hot water. We were very tired after an 8 hour travel day and being up since 5 a.m. so didn’t appreciate the 8 pm call to check in on us. I was sound asleep and it woke me. I appreciate the thought though. Very quiet other than that though! I very, very, very much appreciated the desk chair that was high enough for the desk/table. It would have been nice to have two of them for the two of us. I wish all hotels would get this....

"The hotel itself is pretty and in a good central spot of downtown. The rooms were clean, the a/c worked well. The staff isn't overly friendly and took a long time to get any sheets for our pull out couch and also the phone in our room wasn't working. The facilities could use some TLC, but overall fine."

"The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was nice. The breakfast was delicious with options including biscuits, fried eggs, shredded cheese, waffles, oatmeal, cereal, pastries, bagels, etc. I found a free parking spot (on Saturday night) in front of the hotel. But my husband had to park his car a good distance away. FYI- the parking garage does not have EV chargers."

"Excellent staff. Spacious room. They have us a room on the fifth floor with a good view of the capitol. A very sumptuous breakfast with a huge variety of food items. Overall an excellent stay."

"Beautiful brownstone with welcoming staff/owners. My accommodation was in the condo nearby with a beauty bedroom, sitting area and small kitchen. Great location with easy access to the State Capitol and nearby restaurants. Across from the park too, which is lovely. This is a great place to stay in Albany."

"The staff were very nice. I love its free parking. Amenities are good except no disposable toothbrush and toothpaste, no disposable slipper."

"The location was good,right across from the mall. However the hotel is between the on ramps to the 87so you just have to really pay attention when turning into the parking lot.The staff was very friendly. The rooms were clean but really in need of cosmetic updates - painting and update the bathroom. Also there is no breakfast included as it states on the website. Coffee and tea were available though"

"It was a decent room, fairly clean. I wasn't expecting a 4 star experience from a budget hotel. There were a few things that could have been better though. The breakfast was nice, but to say that options were limited would be an understatement. The only real negative was average at best water pressure and temperature. The room was clean, but it looked like it could use a thorough deep clean. Furniture was well used but still functional."
