"The hotel is quite walkable from York Station and near enough to the bridge across the river to get to all the other attractions. The only minus point was the pillows were too soft for me. Will definitely stay if I go to York again. "

"Great Guest House! Owner was very professional and took the time to highlight key areas on a map for us. The room was clean and very well kept. The key tourist areas of York were all within walking distance. I would highly recommend Vikings Guest House to anyone looking to stay in York."

"A quirky room,clean,somewhat cramped....distance between mattress and floor wider than distance between corner of bed and drinks table. Bit of a squeeze...a larger person would have to roll over bed to get to window. Facilities good but personally no need for TV...it's York why stay in watching TV?"
