"What a great house! My friends and I stayed for the weekend. The house is large and quite comfortable. We enjoyed spending time on the private dock and in the hot tub. We had a great time and would stay there again."

"Don't hesitate you won't be disappointed. The only regret you'll have is not staying longer. So many things to do and see and you won't feel bad doing nothing at all it is so relaxing. Hosts advice and directions accurate and informative. You don't need to bring anything as the owls nest has everything you'll need for an amazing stay. Thank you."

"What fun we all had! The indoor pool was definitely a highlight for us! kids of all ages were able to enjoy the game room and spend quality time in and around the lake. The use of 2 large refrigerators and 2 dishwashers made cooking and clean up a breeze. "

"The stay was fabulous!! Having 2 dishwashers, 2 refrigerators 2stoves2coffeemakers! Brilliant!!We had plenty of space to cook for seventeen guests! The communal spaces were comfy and condusive for the games we played. We enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit!"

"Great location for exploring Deep Creek and the surrounding areas! This rental was perfect for our family of 5 (with grown children in their 20s). Upper and lower bedrooms via spiral staircase may be difficult for people with mobilities or with really small children, but it was perfect for us. Walk to excellent pizza at Brenda’s and coffeeshop! Beautiful view of lake from deck with functional gas fire table to enjoy cool evenings. Eleni was very responsive and accommodating- great to work with!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Birdhouse Lodge. It was quiet, cozy and had a great view of nature. The road to get there was steep and bumpy but my Prius handled it (in June, no snow). The main bed was too soft, but without the foam topper it was just right for us. The listing is accurate except that there are now FOUR TVs and nice chairs around the firepit. "This place was absolutely amazing and just what our family needed. I’m so thankful I found this place and I will be booking again. The only thing I would say is that there needs to be a ladder for the dock but other than that, it was absolutely perfect! I had everything you needed and was close to everything! "

"The inside of the house was very clean and very tastefully decorated. The view was out of this world! The one thing that we would like to note, is that prior guests left large dog poop on the balcony that was not cleaned up by the staff. In addition, there was a bag of dog poop left in front of the home. Everything else was excellent and we still appreciate it being dog-friendly."

"We had a blast at this wooded oasis. Tons of space and cozy rooms for every guest. Would love to book again. "

"My family spent the weekend here. We absolutely loved this place. Very cozy and private. We spent more time around the fire pit than we did at the actual lake. The view of the lake from the fire pit was so calming and peaceful. The dock was very cool. The host was welcoming and accommodating and very easy to reach if you need.
