"This is one of the nicest VRBO's I've stayed in over the last 20 years. Besides being sparkly clean, there were so many touches that made it extra special. The kitchen was stocked with many extras (and had great coffee makers). The beds were super comfy. The floor plan is great for a family. I would highly recommend this wonderful home. "

"Cottage was as described except the bushes in the back yard have grown so the lawn is in the shade most of the day and you can only see the small part of the lagoon shown in the photo unless you walk down to the gate that says private property (to nextdoor), from where you can see the rest of the lagoon and the toilet blocks next to the ramp that the Sea Quest bioluminescence kayakers launch from. Yard was too cool to sit out in in the evenings in mid July, as no fires allowed, but the location...

"Exactly as described. It’s in a beautiful location at the north end of the island so it’s very calm and secluded. The views of the water from the back yard are great. We saw several river otters and other wildlife. The jacuzzi is a definite plus. The house itself is cozy and feels like it’s actually a home, and unlike many vacation rentals it includes plenty of space - and actual dressers! -to put clothes away. It was a perfect base for exploring the island. "

"Wonderful secluded spot with lots of area for the kids to play outside. Inside is very nicely set up with all of the essentials provided. Hot tub was nice and the blackberry bushes were full and ripe! Hot water heater had plenty of capacity for showers running in both bathrooms for at least an hour which was a very pleasant surprise. Perfect spot for families with kids or larger groups. "

"Check in was easy with detailed instructions. ( appreciated that). We had 11 adults 55 to 65 plus 1 83yr old. The kitchen and dining was fantastic. All of our cooking needs was accommodated. It was a delight that not only did the home sleep 11 it was accommodating for serving 11 with proper dining for 11 plus. The home is very clean, very accommodating and represents its self well. "A perfect place to stay! We loved the coziness and the views, and it was ideal for lazy mornings and recuperating after hiking. Also great that it was so close to the ferry. It was our first visit to Lummi and we'll definitely be back. Communication was terrific!"

"Great location on Mud Bay, this is the second time my family has stayed at this house. So tranquil but also close to dock access. No wifi which may be a plus if you’re really trying to disconnect!"

"We had a wonderful stay on Orcas Island! The house had plenty of space, was stocked with everything you could need, and the views from the deck were terrific. Jason was a great host! I would recommend this house!"

We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches—like the charming duck collection and the variety of board games—which added so much character and made our stay extra enjoyable.
