"I think some people would say this hotel was too vintage for them, but for my dog and I it was perfect! I did not get to use the pool, but, it just wasn’t in our plans. This hotel was affordable, comfortable and very convenient. It was only about an eight minute ride if that, to Lake George and the dog friendly rooms had easy access to an outside path that allowed us for a little evening stroll. We had access to a kitchen, which made it a budget, friendly hotel, and we can see ourselves...

"The hotel was dirty, there was not enough hotel stuff to help with breakfast and the dining area. The recepnionists were nice and helpful when asked for additional products missing in the room."

"If service and quality matter to you then this may not be the place. We were locked out of our room five of the six days. The Bear Claw coffee cafe did not have breakfast sandwiches three of the six days and no black tea, despite there being black tea in the breakfast room. Many of the rides at the amusement park were not running. The lazy river was feeling two days of our stay. Overall, it seemed most of the employees spent their time apologizing for a computer system that was not...

"The stay was amazing! Such a big room enough for my family of four! The room was clean and the helper at the front desk was very helpful when checking in! Definitely coming back if available!"

"No paper towels, no pool towels, no Kleenex, filthy sofa bed mattress ..had pieces of food when opened up. Could not use the bed. Had to ask for extra towels, toilet paper and had to purchase napkins and additional paper plates. Floors not very clean with remnant behind beds and torn curtains and liners held together on top by safety pins. No chairs in the room, or outside. We should really get a refund for our 2 night stay, or at least for one night. The rating on Expedia gave this place...

"The Admiral was an excellent place to stay for the money. A very clean and well-maintained property. Very cute and charming 50's style office/home with hanging flowers pots all around it. Two level motels with a very nice pool. The motel is on the end of the main downtown waterfront so it's very easy to walk. It's perfect to leave car at motel since the town charges to park on street. No food available, only coffee in room. Nice little breakfast place 1 min walking across street. Other places...

"Great stay for the price range, no issues at all. Breakfast was above average, and staff kept everything replenished promptly whenever items ran low. Tables were always clean. Rooms were clean, updated, and well-equipped with plenty of USB ports. The pool and hot tub were both kept clean, and towels were well stocked throughout. A nice bonus: 4 EV chargers (non-Tesla) at 25¢/kWh, cheaper than most public charging stations. Would stay here again."
